About

Drawing and knitting characters

Originally I started my shop to sell greetings cards, which have been commercially printed from my own original illustrations, and very occasionally, a piece of orginal artwork.

Then I began to have fun inventing and making the humpty dumpty characters, so decided to sell these as well.

My shop has had a few hiccups in attention over the time it has existed because I am the sole designer and maker of all the items, and unexpected life events have occurred - for example, in the form of breaking a finger and badly damaging my tendons. Luckily for me, thanks to excellent physiotherapy and my own persistence with exercises, my hand is working properly again, and I can re-focus on growing my business.

Originally from Essex, I live in London, making the most of all the fab cafes, art, crafts, fun and festivals. My mum taught me to knit when I was four, and I've been drawing since I could first hold a pencil! Best day is a mix of both.

Shop policies

Hello, Thank you for looking at my shop.

All the crafted items are lovingly hand made by me, and are all one-offs in colour schemes, etc. I've chosen the yarns for their colour, and in some instances, for the texture! Most of the materials used for making items are brand new, but occasionally I will use vintage or recycled. This will be stated in the item description.

All the greetings cards are printed from my own illustrations.

* Just so you know, where possible I prefer to recycle postal packaging materials.

* All items are produced in a smoke-free environment

* The supervisor is a lovely calico cat, so the absence of pet hair cannot be guaranteed!
