About

Life's Too Short To Wear Boring Clothes!

Throughout my life, I have drawn inspiration from the bewitching mystery of the natural world. Growing up in New Jersey, I was fortunate to hike wooded trails past historic ghost towns, paddle muddy red rivers in search of the Jersey Devil, and wave surf with dolphins in the sea. I bring the colors I see in nature and my fascination with the strange into all of my designs.

I try to honor and respect the planet that provides me with the spark to create by working with reusable materials, environmentally friendly dyes, and clothing from ethical manufacturers. From 8th century Japanese Shibori, to 1960's American Tie Dye and modern day ice dying, I use a variety of self taught techniques to achieve the ultimate psychedelic aesthetic.

My interest in advanced tie dye techniques was born from the enlivening experience of attending my first music festival. Not only did I see beautiful examples of tie dye made by true artists, I witnessed a community of like minded individuals who wanted to share their love of art, music and life with every soul they encountered. To see that many humans come together in the spirit of love and kindness, in a beautiful natural setting, all while hearing the best music of my life, I knew I had found a home like no other. I try to bring that festival spirit of caring for others and loving nature and my fellow man into my tie dye. I want everyone who wears or displays my work to feel the joy, wonder, love and excitement that I felt that weekend, and every time I create.
