Family, Magic, and Joy!

I started sewing with my grandmothers sewing machine when I was 14. From altered second hand dresses i moved on to Renaissance Faire costumes, dabbled in cosplay, and now I'm a professional designer. I have never stopped crafting. I have a passion for learning new things, and learning to make new things, and I hope to bring magic, mystery, and joy into your life with my creations, from the fantastical to the mundane.

I enjoy working with other creators. This year, I'm excited to be working with and can't wait to introduce you to Lady J's beautiful, gothic victorian inspired bath lines and soap products. (Lady J is my mother, she and I have been making soap together for almost as long as I've been sewing!) 2021 is going to be a beautiful year full of self care, and I'm glad to be sharing it with you!

Welcome to Dragonswood, where we've been selling gnome hats since 2009. We've branched out a little since then, with other fantasy themed dress up clothes and felt toys. We hope our handcrafted goodness brings playfulness and joy to people everywhere.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
If an item does not meet your expectations and you wish to return it, I will issue a refund for the item once it has been returned to me in like new condition. I will not refund shipping charges in this case.

For health reasons I do not accept returns on any masks, or protective equipment.

If an item arrives and the packaging is damaged, please photograph the package before opening, and after (If you open it.) and send them to me. If you decide not to open it please take it back to the Post Office, and file a complaint about the state of the packaging. Return the unopened package to sender if you want a refund.

When items get lost in the mail I will file a case with the US Postal Service. In this case a refund will be issued after the case has been closed with the post office. This can take several weeks, sometimes longer.
I accept PayPal, and Credit/Debit cards. Items shipping within Washington State will be subject to the sales tax rates of where the items are created, as is required by the use tax on internet sales. If payment is not received within 5 days the order will be cancelled, and in the case of OOAK items it will be relisted.
We ship via the United States Postal Service. Processing (NOT SHIPPING TIME) time varies and is listed in each listing. This processing or handling time is the length of time it will take me to finish the item, package the item, and get it to the post office. The length of time it takes after that is dependent on which shipping option you choose, and pay for. Please take this into conisideration if you are shopping last minute, or need the item by a specific deadline. Often if you need an item that is premade, and I'm not working on custom listings I can rush this handling time, but please contact me before purchasing to make sure that I can get it to you by your deadline.
Additional policies and FAQs
I gladly accept custom orders as long as I have the time, and materials to do the job well. Please don't hesitate to ask me about custom colors, hand embroidered decorative touches, and anything else you might be thinking of. If it's within my capabilities I'd love to make it happen for you.

I charge a $30 hourly fee for any alterations on my items, with a one hour minimum. I charge a $45 drafting fee to make a pattern for a new item in addition to the retail cost of the item.
