5 out of 5 starsThe Fishy Gentleman is another amazing artwork from Drakula Approved. This beautiful piece is amazing on many levels. The framed original artwork is sealed under resin to look as if still under water. It shimmers under the the light. There are even simulated water drops on the ornate frame that glistens and harkens back to an ageless past under the sea. The crystal drops at the very bottom add to this awesome effect. All together, the Fishy Gentleman comes to fantastic life. The picture proves how happy he was living in Innsmouth, MA. He is bubbling over with good cheer.
Thank you for another wonderful buying experience. -

5 out of 5 starsThis amazing piece is a painting and a sculpture which brings life to the overall artwork. It really looks like the giant octopus is reaching out of shimmering water and gripping the sides of the ornate frame. The galleon in the background no longer groans with rocking on the sea. The creature has sunk it into silence. The octopus has also pillaged suveeneers from the vessel that perked its curiosity. The tentacles seem to move when seen from the corner of the eye. The work is hypnotic with beautiful coloration and fine detail. It looks and feels like a story from a dream. Even the ornate frame looks like it has been under the sea. I will treasure this beautiful piece.

Care instructions
My artwork is usually glued to a frame and covered in glass or resin so it is waterproof. That being said, I have quite a few pieces made with lace or fabrics and I wouldn't recommend getting them very wet. They should be stored in a cool dry place, so please keep away from damp areas.
Please avoid scratching glass/resin that protects the artwork, so please don't store right next to anything with sharp corners/edges.
Creating the artwork.
Each painted piece is one of a kind, painted by hand, and although I use reference images for the anatomy of animals, skulls, etc., the overall image and design is from my imagination.
