Frequently asked questions
Do you accept custom orders, and can you add a name to the item?
It depends... I can customise some orders, but not all are easily done so (such as "one of a kind" items that are already made). Please check the individual item listing's description that you are interested in, then send us a message if you're still unsure.
I can create a custom order in most cases to accommodate a customer's needs, to a reasonable degree (depending on the availability or accessibility of certain materials used to do so, or if it is physically possible).
At the moment I cannot offer personalisation such as name tags or engraving.
Care instructions
For all items, it is important to handle them with a degree of care, as one would with any item of personal property. Wearable items, such as jewellery, will be more susceptible to wear and tear over time, and it is the wearer's responsibility to handle them with the care expected to maintain their condition.
Silver plated items may tarnish over time, but there are cleaning and handling tips and instructions widely available on the internet that can advise on the upkeep of such items. It is also not advised to wear such items in chlorinated water as this can erode the plating.
Fabric items such as braided bracelets are not waterproof and it is not advised to wear them in showers, baths or when swimming.
Sizing details
Please check individual listings for sizing and how the item is measured, i.e bracelet items.
As a general rule, I make wearable items such as bracelets to order as every wrist size is different. If you are unsure about the sizing, please take a measurement of your/the individual's wrist or of a bracelet owned and add it to the "personalisation" box when placing your order.
I am not responsible for the initial measurement provided by the customer. If the measurement provided is inaccurate, and no contact is made by the customer to inform me of such and make adjustments prior to dispatch, no refunds are accepted.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
I do not accept returns or exchanges on wearable and fabric items, such as earrings and bracelets, for hygiene reasons.
Items that are highly customisable (size, colour etc) cannot be exchanged or easily replaced as they need to be made again to the specific requirements of the individual. This takes time, especially in cases where an item is fully customised from concept to creation.
It is therefore imperative that the customer provides as much information as possible about what they want and (if required for that item) the sizing and as accurately as possible.
Items that are not wearable and are made already (e.g "one of a kind" items) may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
Customers are responsible for postage costs for returns.
How long will it take to deliver my order?
Delivery estimates are dependant on the courier used and service provided.
Royal Mail estimates can be very optimistic, and do not take into account the affects of strike action, weather and technical issues that may occur when providing their services. In such circumstances, delays may be expected.
