Hi, my name is Sonia and I create mandala paintings, hand painted on canvas, with love and passion.
The mission of my life is to create mandala that will help you regain your spiritual well-being, your Divine Center.
Mandalas are the means by which I will report Light and positivity in your life.
I love nature and animals; the contact with them makes me feel good and elevates my spirit, it relaxes me.
I often take inspiration from nature to paint my mandala... the sweetness of a flower or the perfection of a leaf can inspire my creations in a special way, unique and original.
I live in the countryside near Rome, so I have a lot of nature around me. For this I consider myself very lucky.
I feel very much in harmony with Buddhism, and is for this that in my mandala also insert Buddhist sacred symbols. Not only! I love to draw and paint symbols of different religions and cultures, because I'm very fascinated by the symbolism in general.
The mandala entered my life three years ago, thanks to a dear friend who, during one afternoon, made them know to me by email. I was thunderstruck, and I loved them immediately. Maybe, inside me I knew that they would help me so much in the life and that they could do so much for others.
I have a technical - artistic education and I've always loved art in all its forms. Mixing my artistic talents with mandala art was an important step in my life.
Since my mission is to paint them to be able to help you, I decided to open my own shop on Etsy in 2013. In this way, you can choose the mandala for you, that you feel more and that you are certain it will help your spiritual journey, interior.
With my heart, my passion and my experience I paint your energy mandala, which is the mirror of what you are at this moment in your life.
♦ MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES ♦
When I paint my mandalas I use acrylic colors of different companies: Maimeri, Schmincke, I love art, Gerstacker, etc. The canvases are German and Italian.
The final varnish, that I use to protect mandala paintings, is the Maimeri or Schmincke company.
All my materials are highly professional to ensure maximum durability of the canvases and of the painting itself.

What is a mandala?
It's not simple to explain, but I'll try to do it in a few lines and in the simplest way I can.
The mandala is a drawing composed by many geometrical figures; the most used are the square, the triangle, the circle and the point. Also other shapes are used, as the natural ones, for example animals or flowers. Every shape has its own symbology. The same for colors.
The word "Mandala" comes from sanskrit and it means “circle” or “center”. For Buddhists it represents the process by which the universe was formed, from its center; used for the meditation and the contemplation, it represents also a journey trough ourselves, so a spiritual travel, to discover one's own nature, one's self and to awaken consciousness.
Creating and painting a mandala, thanks to an accurate study of Jung, the psychiatrist, is also an excellent way to relax, to find harmony and equilibrium in ourselves, and to awaken parts of our psyche that remained dormant in time.
A mandala can be realized on canvas or on every other surface, it can be sculpted or created with colorful sand (Oriental tradition). The way to compose a mandala, the possibility of creating avery time different shapes and using colors of vibrant color contrasts, make it a real art.

Returns and exchange details
■ Please, you contact me and ship the item back to me within 14 days of delivery.
■ The shipping must be traceable, otherwise I will not refund.
■ Shipping costs for returns are buyer's responsibility.
■ Once I have received my item, intact and with its packaging, I will refund the purchase.
■ If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
■ If the item arrives damaged, you take two photos and send them to me by email. Within three days I will provide a refund of the item price only.

■ Necklace in my shop are made metal alloy antique bronze plated. Nichel and lead free. Don't wet them and don't spray perfumes above them.
