2 weeks went by, no communication, nothing shipped. i messaged Paul and he ignored me, messaged again and he lied and said he would ship. Days later he ignored my next message. He responded after I caught him listing new items and he claimed he needed to make another sale before he could ship mine (what?!?). I suggested he not lie to people in the future and he apologized but still refused to say when he would ship... I told him I wanted a refund immediately and he ignored me so I filed a paypal claim against him to get my refund. He is now ignoring paypal. Stay away from Paul, he's the worst seller I've ever dealt with on etsy!

I did have issues the week this was due to ship, due to unforeseen circumstances, my finances were basically in the gutter at that point. She "caught" me renewing items in the hopes that I could bring in a sale, which I was going to use to ship her order. She emailed me no less than 6 times that Monday, and the item was only 2 days late. I couldn't give her an exact date to ship as I didn't rightly know. As fo my so called "lying" , I was expecting a customer to come by and purchase a table, they no call/ no showed, which is beyond my control as well. This woman obviously has control issues and to me it seemed like she was looking for a scapegoat. I apologized, I issued her a refund, but she clearly never going to be happy,

About

My ART is wooden.

I started doing live edge and custom furniture at the request of a good friend (whom I had just met at the time) who asked me to do some custom pieces for her shop in NW Portland. The idea appealed to me greatly at the time as I was unemployed and unemployable ( to quote Master Shake!), I already had over ten years of carpentry/remodel experience, with the last few years spent doing cabinetry installs; and my existing art degree left all the necessary info in my memory banks. From there, I just started making stuff, whatever I could dream up, I would just do it. I also have faux finishing experience, as I did that for a few years when I first moved here, and so started playing around with changing the color of the wood, as well as doing really natural pieces. I guess technically I have been at this a year and a half or so, but I really count it from my first etsy sale, as that's when the realization hit me, that this could work. I enjoy creating and making new things, and seeing people happy with what they have bought is a great reward.

1998 BFA grad from YSU, sort of fell into carpentry, did that for a bit, then when the market went bottoms up, I started doing this.
