A little about Driftwood Interiors - Original Art by Kerri Shipp

I've had a lifelong addiction to all things art and design, but took the safe road and ended up with a career in finance - a classic case of 'square peg in round hole' syndrome. It took the birth of my first child, and a local art class to rediscover my love of painting. I spent many years teaching art to adults, which led to interior design, but I've now come full circle and returned to my first love - painting.

I was lucky enough to have my work featured in Martha Stewart Living in 2011, and I've been a full-time artist ever since. I work from my studio in rural Brisbane, Australia, and with neighbours such as koalas and wallabies, birds of every description and a creek full of wildlife, inspiration is never far away.

I truly believe that, just as your wardrobe reflects your personal style, so should your home. Maybe you'll find a painting in my store that you fall in love with; that you have an instant reaction to. And maybe, just maybe, you'll even find a painting that reflects who you truly are.......

All items are shipped by Australia Post unless otherwise requested. Orders are usually shipped within 2 working days of receiving payment, however during very busy times it may take a little longer. For international buyers it may take up to 22 working days to receive your order, and up to 28 days during peak holiday times. Please note that regular shipping (both within Australia and internationally) DOES NOT provide tracking. If you require tracking, insurance or expedited shipping, please choose either Express Post (within Australia) or Registered Post (international) at checkout.

All items are shipped for maximum protection. Unfortunately, I cannot assume responsibility for packages once they are shipped. Any and all duties, customs fees and applicable taxes that may be incurred are the responsibility of the customer. If the delivery of your package is delayed beyond the 22 business days, please call your local Post Office and local Customs office to inquire about the status of your non-delivered package.

It's also important to ensure your address is up-to-date in your Etsy account. Once your order is placed, it will be shipped to the address shown and unfortunately we can't intercept or change the delivery address once it's shipped.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note the difference between the image size and the paper size. Prints are sized to suit most standard mats and frames, i.e 8x10 prints have an image sized to fit that size mat and/or frame, whereas the paper size refers to the overall paper dimensions. Our prints are designed to work with both ready-made and custom frames, so we leave an ample white border around the image to allow for mat clearance (if required), and to avoid damage to the printed area. It also allows for handling without the need to touch the actual print area - fingerprints and clean, crisp paper are not the best combination! If necessary, you can trim the border to suit your particular frame, although it's important to do this carefully. The old adage of 'measure twice, cut once' definitely applies here. To be safe, we do recommend you get a professional framer to trim your artwork for you. And if possible, it's best to choose your frames after you receive your prints. That way, you can make sure your artwork will be showcased beautifully!

Please note the colors you see on your computer screen may differ slightly to the real print due to variations in monitors. If you have any questions regarding colours etc, please send a message before purchasing as no refunds or exchanges are possible, due to the delicate nature of paper prints. All of my prints have my signature on the bottom right hand side of the paper, so you know you have an authentic print straight from my studio!

I enjoy working on special commissions, so please contact me for details. If you'd like to have a piece custom made just for you, I'm happy to work with you according to your specifications. I also welcome wholesale orders.

Thanks and enjoy your shopping!
