Functional. Fashionable. Drool-worthy. Small batch and custom sewn & embroidered items for all, big & small.

Some families have small gymnasts, scientists, or artists. Our family ... we had a droolist.

He inspired the sewn solution to excessive dribble -- the droolist scarf-style short, yet very absorbent dribble bib, and I found I wasn't the only one with needs my product could meet.

Droolist grew to offer a wider range of custom products, including my special needs line, and I added embroidery services to my online offerings.

Whether you're shopping for something special for yourself or a little one, I'm happy to help! I design, cut, and stitch each Droolist offering myself from the (usually relatively) happy confines of our Virginia home before my world wakes up, while they nap, or after they've hit the hay. Sewing and embroidery are my creative outlets, and I love sharing my work with you!

Droolist grew out of creating a solution for a household need: I needed less laundry and had a very drooly baby. There weren't commercial drool bibs with the absorbency needed in prints I wanted or with the functionality I desired. SO, I started creating my own after inspiration struck. While I'd learned to sew as a child and had been sewing casually for over thirty years, I'd never considered selling my products. However, the demand for these bibs changed that, and Droolist became a licensed business in Virginia during 2015.

Since that time, I've expanded store offerings to meet customer needs while ensuring that everything that leaves my house is something I'd be proud to keep here. All the makes I offer are functional. If it doesn't have a purpose equal to or beyond what you could buy for less in a big box store, I'm not selling it. It's all fashionable, and -rest assured- your order will be drool-worthy. Strangers will ask where you got what you ordered.

Unlike some other sellers, I do make all my own sewn pieces from start to finish-- sourcing fabrics, to pattern-making and refining, to cutting and finishing, and shipping. The price I charge reflects the high-quality materials I select, my collaboration with you through customer service, the expertise and time used in making your order, and the costs associated with owning a legitimate, tax-paying business.

Whatever you order, it's my goal that you are happy with the products. I stand by my work, and the highest praise comes in the form of your repeat purchases and referrals. I hope you love my products as much as I do, and I hope you'll share these one-of-a-kind makes with the best people in your life, little and big!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Ready to Ship Items (Neither Customized nor Personalized): I can refund your purchase amount, less fees associated with the transactions, if I haven't yet shipped your order. Once your order ships, it can be exchanged, less my outbound shipping with ADVANCE APPROVAL if I am contacted within FIVE days of receipt AND if you return ship within SEVEN days of written approval. ONLY items still unworn/unused AND in original condition / packaging can be accepted for exchange.

CUSTOMIZED / PERSONALIZED / CUSTOM ORDERS/ PERSONAL PRODUCTS: These items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. Please double-check ALL details before purchase.

Component Defects: Should you find that you have a component failure (snap, fabric, etc) during routine use in accordance with the care tag instructions, please reach out. I'm happy to work with you to make things right.

Custom Listings: Once you have placed an order for a custom / personalized listing (paid), I cannot offer a refund/exchange if the items are in production. It is my goal to work with you to ensure that you will be happy with your custom items so that there will be no need for a return or exchange.

Please inspect your package when it arrives. Photograph any damage to the exterior of the package, or to your items, and advise me of special situations. We will work to find a resolution that meets the guidelines as listed.
Payment
I accept major credit/debit, PayPal, and Etsy.
Payment needs to be confirmed before I can ship your order. If you change your mind, I can refund your purchase amount, less fees associated with the transactions, if I haven't started your order.

CUSTOMIZED / PERSONALIZED / Custom Listings: Once you have placed an order for a custom / personalized listing (paid), I cannot offer a refund/exchange if the items are in production. It is my goal to work with you to ensure that you will be happy with your custom items so that there will be no need for a return or exchange. Please double-check ALL details prior to purchase.
Shipping
**IF YOU ARE LOCAL to me, please CONVO me BEFORE purchase so we can set up a custom listing that EXCLUDES SHIPPING COSTS if you prefer to pick up your order.

It is the BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to DOUBLE CHECK that the shipping address is correct.
** If you are using PAYPAL, please DELETE ALL previous addresses so ONLY your current address is available in PayPal. A system glitch has caused some PayPal orders to show old addresses as current shipping info in the Etsy system. I cannot be responsible for shipments misdirected due to this or other system errors, and the ONLY sure way to ship to your CURRENT address using PAYPAL is to DELETE ALL PREVIOUS ADDRESSES before using that payment form and to DOUBLE CHECK your address.

Standard shipping is via standard USPS. Tracking information will be sent to you via Etsy when I ship your order, Other options are listed with individual listings. If you need a different method, please Convo me before ordering OR include a message in NOTES TO SELLER and I will invoice you for any additional fees prior to shipping.

I typically do not insure your order or require a signature at delivery. Should you wish to have either, I will gladly add them. If you wish to upgrade to Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx shipping, please let me know so we can calculate your added costs.

**GIFTS: If you're having items shipped directly from me to a gift recipient, I will package them accordingly. Gift packaging is included in the cost of some listings. If you are buying as a gift and that option is not included in the listing, please CONVO me so I can package it to your specifications and make you aware of additional costs, if necessary.

As a general rule, simply advise me of any preferences in NOTES TO SELLER or via Convo and I'll work with you to make sure you're happy.

Special Needs Offerings: I make special needs bibs for children and adults to your specifications. Convo me if you have someone in mind who would like to stay drier, and I will be happy to work with you to customize a pattern and create solutions that are right for you.

My listings show representative examples of a given group of visually very similar pieces or sets unless listed as "One of a Kind." Fabric pattern placement of the item you order may vary slightly from the one pictured. I'm happy to email you a photo preview of your order via Etsy Convo at your request.
