Well it looks like we havent changed out messages for awhile - we missed a whole season!
Happy Spring - lots of new stuff coming to the store front in the future. Keep your eyes peled!
And JUST a friendly reminder:
At the old brick and mortar shop, we have settled in on our new hours to the public (Tues - Wed: By Appointment Thurs. - Sat. 12 to 5 PDT). If in Portland - drop on by! If you aren’t seeing what you’re looking for here in our ETSY store front, please message us directly and ask - keep in mind we do not have a lot of RARER stuff stashed so if you’re looking for a MOTU Scare Glow or POTF Luke Stormtrooper, sorry, we are currently plum out!
Follow us over on FB & Instagram, we post lots of cool interesting looking items and other stuff for sale (other than whats here on Etsy of course). User name is same as here: Drtonguestoys.
And don’t forget to “Favorite" the shop here on Etsy and when we list and update anything in the store, you will receive a notification!

Not just toys for sale (November 2016)
Dealing in toys since I was a wee lad!
That is no joke - other kids had lemonade stands? I had a toy stand - well more like two saw horses and a board. I sold toys out of my garage to the neighborhood kids so I could go out and buy MORE TOYS! Fun stuff has always been a part of my life - even through High School, I visited the toy isle every chance I could get.
After running a mail order collectibles business on the side for a few years, spring forward to 1993 - I opened my first collectible toy store in Portland Oregon - Dr. Tongues 3-D House of Collectible Toys. That first shop closed in 2005 but my love of toys did not wain. I was still doing mail order through my own website and then opened up my Etsy shop in 2009.
We have reopened a new retail location in Portland Oregon on May of 2015. Dr. Tongue's "I Had That" Shoppe is here in Portland Oregon to fill your collecting needs! So if you’re in the area, drop by and see what we have besides the items listed here!
