About

Vintage-inspired jewelry and accessories

Hello, my name is Deb! I live in Melbourne, Australia with my wonderful husband and two cute (but also crazy) little girls who inspired the name of this store.

I have a background in research science, specialising in molecular biology and medical research. I have been "creative" all my life, learning to embroider and sew from a very young age. I learned to make jewellery from books as a teenager and have not looked back since.

Two Cheeky Monkeys was opened and named after my children when I couldn't find work which allowed me to also care for my young family. My gorgeous family and friends were the ones who encouraged me to open this store after many of them received handmade gifts from me.

My favourite jewellery supplies to work with are vintage beads and components, Swarovski crystals, cabochons and glass jewels.
The Literature Jewellery range, came about quite by accident when I found an extremely old and battered copy of "Pride and Prejudice". Knowing how popular this novel was with many of my friends (and my husband!), I was inspired by this serendipitous find to create what has become my most popular range of items in-store.

I believe I have been very blessed to have the life and lifestyle that I live. Therefore, 10% of profits are donated to aid and advocacy organisations such as TEAR Australia, Barnabas Fund, World Vision and Compassion Australia.

I also have a homewares store at:

Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that the colours in photos may vary slightly from the actual item due to differences in computer monitors.

Please also note that items made with vintage components may show some wear, patina or other signs of aging. All items made with vintage components will state any signs of wear.
