Upon discovering our shared love of letterpress printing, we decided to combine our traditional graphic design and business backgrounds and Duet Letterpress emerged.

Together we spent many months looking for an antique printing press and taking letterpress printing classes until we finally found a pedal-operated Pearl Press that dated back the 1920s. After a multi-state road trip and many months of restoration, the little Pearl became our work horse – printing beautiful letterpress pieces one color and one card at a time. Since then, we've acquired another Pearl Press and a larger Old Style Chandler & Price Press which we are currently restoring.

Today, Duet Letterpress creates invitations, announcements, stationery and business cards. We specialize in designing and letterpress printing custom pieces for clients looking for something classic and beautiful. In addition to our custom house sketch moving announcements, we also offer a small collection of ready-made letterpress goods including our anniversary card series, baby gender announcements and year of firsts certificates, and we have hopes of offering a wholesale line in the future.

Everything is designed and printed from start to finish in our little studio. We're passionate about what we do. From brainstorming with pencil and paper to hand mixing ink to holding the freshly printed piece in our hands, we crave what we do and truly love it.
