What a delight could not have asked for a better seller. Sue was wonderful and the pomanders are brilliant so much better than I could have wished for, the communication was excellent as Sue kept me informed every step of the way. Would 100% recommend using this seller.

The buttonholes I ordered (13) are absolutely beautiful and they came so quick! I couldn't have asked for better! Will upload some photos when they get used for my wedding in two weeks. Thankyou, Lauren x

About

Once upon a time ....

Sue can remember being taught to knit and sew by her mother – and a seminal moment when, aged 10, she met a beachcomber during a family summer holiday; this man made exquisite dolls from shells, and showed Sue how. Once home she made her own from shells collected at the beach. Candles followed made from household candles and wax crayons melted together, whisked and then poured into molds – her mother’s egg whisk took some time to recover!
Karen’s love of making things started at school, culminating in Art – ceramics A level. Her brother’s wedding was a watershed – she rushed out and bought her first sewing machine to make her own wedding outfit. Since then, she has delighted in experimenting with all sorts of projects from bean bags to a penguin outfit for her daughter’s school dressing up day, imagined from a Japanese onesie she saw on the internet!
Playing about with fabric flowers, and quilted balls for Christmas prompted the idea of working together to make things that others might like – and so our Etsy shop was born! Since those first tentative days, our range has developed and continues to grow as our creative imaginings become realities.
The fun of experimenting and testing things out hasn’t changed – and our ‘identity’ has, it seems, become a gift shop for anyone and everyone, rather than specialising in a particular line. Why limit ourselves when we are having so much fun exploring new things?
We hope you enjoy browsing through our shop, and would be delighted to make something specially for you!

Totally in love with my family, wannabe writer - My own mother taught me to knit and sew, and my love of creating lovely things has never changed.

Teacher, with two gorgeous children and an equally gorgeous husband, I think I may have inherited my creative side from my mother - and her father who was an amazing craftsman!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

We are delighted to help you to find the ideal item for you or for someone you love, so if we can custom - make one of our items for you, to make it unique to you, send us a message.

* If you have a specific date or deadline, please let us know - it is important we both take into account the time to make your item.

* Please make sure you allow for any delays that may be encountered in postage and delivery, especially for international orders. If you would like express/first class delivery let us know.

I am very happy to send you a sample of the fabric or card/paper used, free of charge, if you have a specific colour scheme to match.

NB: Please note that samples are offered for a small charge for our wedding favours.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every order is carefully wrapped in tissue, and then bubble wrapped for security. If you would like your order to be gift wrapped, with a note from you to the recipient, please let us know - we will be happy to do this for you for no extra charge.

In the interests of the environment, where possible we recycle packaging.

Postage and delivery times

For UK buyers, we generally use Royal Mail second class & signed for service. Delivery varies a little but is usually within a few days.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We post to Canada, USA and Australia and are happy to quote for any other country. Again, we use Royal Mail's International Tracked service - they claim to take between 5 - 7 days but experience has taught us that delivery can actually take as long as three weeks, if not longer. We appreciate how frustrating this is for our customers but sadly there is nothing we can do to help once the item has been posted. Local conditions and customs all play their part in delaying matters.

Contact us for a quote for first class or express delivery.
