Fibers have ebbed and flowed in my life since I bought a second hand wheel when I was 18. I spun lots of farm wool, made a bunch of sweaters, had kids, put the wheel in the corner....It was while on hiatus from aspiring to become a midwife that I took a job as natural dyer for a small weaving company. While somewhat experienced in dyes, it was this job that brought me to rediscover my passion for fibers.

While I still am employed by this wonderful yarn company, I delved deeply into dyeing and blending colors on my own and spinning them into fantastic art yarns. I opened my etsy shop a little over a year ago.

It's all good. I have a "real" job that's all yarn all day. And on the side I make...more yarn. Wool is my medium, nature is my palette.
