Announcement Postage rates have changes. International shipping has gotten drastically more expensive. I am seeing $12 prices to ship 4 oz. of fiber the UK. Despite this price increase, I will continue to offer international shipping for those who may still be inclined to purchase. My shipping overage refund policy guarantees that you will receive a refund if your postage is significantly less than you paid, and I am happy to work with multiple item purchasers for a more accurate estimate of shipping price before payment if desired!

All items are kept in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
Yarns labeled as the same colorway are all from the same dye lot unless otherwise specified. Most colors are not repeated, but any colors that become regular will have the dye lot marked both on the skein and int he listing. Most colors should not bleed much if at all, as they have been set with both heat and acid and rinsed thoroughly, but you should always wash an item by itself the first time just in case. All colors are captured as accurately as possible, but please remember that individual monitors may display colors a little differently.
Yarn and fiber club memberships are periodically available. All of the relevant information for the club will be in the listing. This information can also be found on the website and the Ravelry group, linked above.

ABOUT MY YARNS:
*Basic Sock: (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon) A good, sturdy fingering-weight sock yarn that wears well.
*Shortcake: (100% superwash merino wool) Spun right here in the USA, this fingering-weight sock yarn is the springiest of the lot. The wool is very crimpy while maintaining softness and has a nice memory.
*Luscious: (80% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon) This yarn is for the lovers of 2-ply fingering-weight sock yarns. It has a gorgeous sheen, takes up dye colors vividly, and is tightly-spun for durability.
*Sockolate Mousse: (80% superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon) A luxurious fingering-weight sock yarn for those picky tootsies that refuse to accept anything but the softest of yarns; this yarn has merino for structure and memory, nylon for durability, and a touch of cashmere for softness without sacrificing wearability.
*Sport Sock: (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon) For sock knitters who like a thicker sock or just want to finish fast, this sport-weight yarn has the same softness and durability of the Basic Sock base, but it’s a sport weight yarn for thicker, quicker socks.
*Merino Worsted: (100% superwash merino wool) A soft, springy worsted-weight yarn with good memory and a soft touch.
*Merino Bulky: (100% superwash merino wool) A soft, springy bulky-weight yarn with good memory and a soft touch.
*Upcycled: (composition varies) Each upcycled yarn will have its own characteristics because they are small batches reclaimed from sweaters. These yarns have varying levels of twist; some are well-twisted and some are barely plied at all. I prefer to work with yarns that are soft to the touch, so the yarns in this shop will be very soft unless otherwise specified in the listing.
All of my upcycled yarn has been gently unraveled, thoroughly washed, and checked for weak spots. I keep joins to a minimum, but any joins are felted (if yarn will felt) or sewn (if yarn will not felt) and strong. The cleaning process relaxes the kinks and straightens the yarn so you can knit, crochet, or do anything else you want with it without the hassle of vigorous yarn slinkies. Upcycled yarns have yardage estimates based on a sample that is hand-measured on a swift, and yardage estimates are always rounded DOWN. However, the yardage is an estimate, and not an exact figure. Each skein is bound with a band containing colorway, content, measurement, weight, and care information.
Accepted payment methods
Payment should be received within 3 days of purchase. If not paying via PayPal, please contact me to let me know so that I can expect your payment in the mail. Non-paying buyers will be sent a notice and given one week to respond before the transaction is canceled.
All packages will be sent with delivery confirmation by default except those with International shipping. International shipping must be upgraded to Priority mail to get delivery confirmation. International customers, I will send you a note to let you know when I have shipped out your package. I am aware that the shipping cost is prohibitive for non-US customers. It's difficult to estimate the postage cost for international orders; some are low and some are high.
FOR ALL ORDERS: My shipping fees do sometimes add up to more than is necessary for shipping, and in those cases my policy is to refund anything over $2 more than the actual cost of postage. (The additional fees go to pay for the envelope or box, shipping labels, and packing materials, but $2 really should cover it.)
I use the PayPal shipping label service for domestic orders. Please make sure your shipping address is correct on PayPal!
