Howdy from Colorado... and welcome to Eaker House! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I only accept Paypal. Payment is due when items are selected from the shop. Payment or communications must be made within 24 hours or I will repost the item.
Shipping
I now ship only on Tuesdays and Fridays. FREE first Class US SHIPPING ON ALL ITEMS $10 and up!!!! If you want insurance for items under $100 or shipped through an different carrier please let me know before you place your order, as this will increase your shipping costs. I pack and ship very carefully however, I will not be held responsible for lost or damaged mail unless you purchase insurance (i.e I do not offer refunds for shipping errors w/o insurance) Items valued above $100 are automatically insured.

PLEASE NOTE: Items will only be shipped to Paypal "confirmed" addresses. Please make sure that your Paypal address is up to date, as I only ship to your CONFIRMED Paypal address. If you you do not provide a CONFIRMED paypal address I will cancel the transaction. I have had people try to commit fraud recently by providing completely different account names and addresses... so, after trying to make sure that fraud doesn't happen to me and other account holders again... and after receiving one inaccurate and negative feedback for doing what Paypal recommends ("Contact the buyer to confirm the purchase and validate the shipping address")(out of over 220 positives)... I have changed my policy... No CONFIRMED ACCOUNT, NO TRANSACTION! Period! So sorry!!
Refunds and Exchanges
Eaker House does not offer refunds or exchanges.

I know you'll be satisfied with your purchase. I may be new to Etsy, but Eaker House has been selling vintage jewelry at juried art/craft shows since 2001 and has never had a customer ask for a return, in fact, most of my business is from dedicated repeat customers. I am VERY honest and would never sell anything that I wouldn't be proud to wear myself. My items are described VERY accurately and I NEVER lie about the condition or history of my vintage pieces.

If I have somehow misrepresented an item - please convo me to discuss.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please remember - all items are antique or vintage collectibles (manufactured or created circa 1820-1970) and could contain small amounts of potentially hazardous/flammable materials (i.e. lead, glue, paint, etc.) There is no way for Eaker House to ascertain whether previously manufactured items contain potentially hazardous/flammable chemicals or metal content. Buyer assumes all risk. Eaker House is not responsible or liable for such content, if present... nor any personal injury related to such content. ON A LIGHTER NOTE: Do you know of any one - any grandmothers or divas out there who have died or been seriously injured by wearing costume jewelry? Me neither! :)

Just FYI: Do not get your vintage jewelry wet! That means DO NOT store your vintage jewelry in those little plastic jewelry bags (holds onto humidity), nor wear your jewelry in the rain... and ladies...try not to perspire while wearing your jewels! :) Always put your jewelry on last (as the icing on the cake) - never spray hairspray, deodorant or perfume while wearing your jewels and make sure that your hands are free of lotion when touching your collectible pieces. All of the above can corrode your precious heirloom beyond repair!! Water and other liquids, especially sweat corrode old metal, as well as the foiled backing of rhinestones (like a mirror).

I provide a custom and handmade (by me) vintage style pouch(earrings bags have a special pocket - one side for each earring - so that they do not rub against one another) made for storing and traveling - please use it and recycle those little plastic bags!!!

In addition, please be advised - all items come from a smoke free, but not pet free home.

I'm just glad my policies page is over - I'm actually super friendly, with exemplary customer service, so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
