Announcement   MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

When placing an order of a 'made to order' item. Please make sure you contact me first before placing the order. Made to order items can take up to 8 weeks or longer depending on the amount of orders ahead of you. Please please contact me first before placing your order. I charge $150.00 design fee. Why you ask? Because it takes time to sketch ideas on paper for you which takes time away from working in the studio. This covers two (2) initial sketch ideas and one final if the first two arent acceptable.

About

who am i

Nature is a strong influence in my metal sculptures. I am surrounded by it living in Cass County MN. I think about how nature influences us as a species and the reverse of that, how we effect nature and the world as a whole. Whether I'm creating for a client, or creating an idea, nature, wildlife as well as the human figure enter the mix in one form or another of my work. Nature and organic forms being the
major influence, my hope is not only to create something beautiful, but thought provoking. Metal is my medium, art is what I create from it. Custom work is my livelihood...

Larry and I live just out side of Longville MN on 40 acres. We purchased the land just for the purpose of being close to nature. Our neighbors are the deer, bear and all sorts of forest friends. I find peace living here which in turn influence my work. I often think about the history of this little piece of land and feel blessed to be caretakers for a time on it. Other than our little house, we have left the forest as we have found it. From wildlife, to organic forms. I feel very much at home in nature. For me, it's like being in 'church' everyday and communing with my maker. My belief in taking care of our mother earth, we in turn take care of ourselves.

How did you get started?
My art career began in the two dimensional, paintings, sketching and the like. My husband, Larry, who is a millwright, suggested trying metal work. He proceeded to teach me and over 15 years later, the work you see on this site is the result of his tutelage.

In the past, I have worked as a welder fabricator for different business’. In April of 2001 I became self employed in order to pursue a metal art career through my business Earth Eagle Forge.

The experience that I have gained from first as a two dimensional artist to a three dimensional, allows for diversity in first conceptualizing an idea and then implementing those ideas into reality.

What do you want to accomplish?
My job as a custom artist is to help others acquire pieces they desire in their lives by designing and creating with them in mind. I take this job seriously and feel honored and privileged when someone want something I've created. I believe art is important in our lives as human beings. Art is a tool for the soul to communicate to the world... Beliefs, a sense of beauty, individual uniqueness....or even a sense of adventure. The ultimate goal of any artist is to help others see the world in different ways.
When I'm not working on a commission, I'm working on pieces that, hopefully, encourage the viewer to think about the direction of our lives; as individuals and as a people. Attempting to say; life is about choices, think about yours.

Thank you for your interest in Earth Eagle Forge. I hope you enjoy viewing the images of my work. If you have any questions or would like to have your own metal art created, please, don't hesitate to contact us. Larry and I would love to hear from you.
I welcome corporate and private commissions.

"The influence of a vital person vitalizes... The world without spirit is a wasteland. People have the notion of saving the world by shifting things around, changing the rules, and who's on top, and so forth. No, no! Any world is a valid world if it's alive. The thing to do is to bring life to it, and the only way to do that is to find in your own case where the life is
and become alive yourself." ~Joseph Campbell

Shipping
Shipping is determined by weight and zip code. If ordering an item in my etsy shop, please send a note with your zip code to determine the cost. If you are purchasing outside of the U.S. shipping cost does not include customs fees in your country. Shipping costs on my end do not include the cost/price of customs. You will need to pay for any 'duty' in your country. It is best to send me a note on the item you are interested in with your zip code so that I can determine what you're shipping cost will be. Based on the weight of each metal art piece that I create, it is impossible to set a basic shipping charge for all items. That is why it's important to have the piece you're interested in weighed by UPS WITH you're zip code. Delivery and installation for large scale sculptures can be done by Earth Eagle Forge for a competitive price.
Additional policies and FAQs
I insure all my pieces when shipping. If for any reason the piece is damaged in transport, you need to contact me as soon as you have opened the package and inspected it.
