About

I'm crazy about fishing and love to make pottery. Living in New Mexico, I am deeply inspired by the crackly and earthy desert. The natural textures and earth tone colors around me are built upon layers and weathering. This rustic feeling is also found in my wood fired pottery. Loose, organic forms, scars and natural occurrences keep these pots exciting.
On the other hand, I also make earthenware pottery that is white, clean looking and more contemporary. I love to hand paint on the maiolica glaze with original fish designs. It keeps me painting and exploring colors.
I prefer to be making in the studio, wood firing, fishing or playing outside with my animals.
