Stimulate your mind and spirit with a piece of very unique, handmade pottery.

I love working in clay, both making and firing. Everything I make is wheel thrown and some slab built pottery. I specialize in wood fired ceramics with texture and imagery. I also love to soda fire my work.

These pieces are for people who love and value one of a kind things. Hand crafted, well made, with lots of attention to detail. Earthfired Pottery gives the home a calm, creative, earthy and inviting feel, while adding modern rustic style.

*Earthfired Pottery was featured in the Sept./Oct. 2020 issue of New Mexico Magazine.

This small pottery jar is great for storing tea, dried herbs and seeds. Garden inspired!
Cleaning up some wood fired jugs. Sanding, sometimes grinding and fitting corks. Jugs are one of my favorite forms because they can be side fired on shells or upright. They can take action from any zone of the kiln and each has its own character.

About earthfired

On Etsy since 2010

A creative woman making handmade pottery in New Mexico.

I opened my Etsy shop in 2010, when I decided to commit to making the best pottery I can as a career.
Living in New Mexico, I am deeply inspired by the crackly, earthy desert and landscapes. The natural textures and earth tone colors around me are weathered by the hot sun and wind. This rustic feeling is also found in my wood fired pottery. Well crafted, organic forms and atmospheric firing make these pots exciting. The firing process is long and labor intensive, but a highly enjoyable community effort. I enjoy traveling to wood fire with other potters around the country and making new friends.
To use a wood fired pot is to bond with the elements that made it. Humanity, wood, fire, water, wind, earth, sun, stars and flame.

I’m a wife to a professional outdoorsman, and I am also a full time potter. Working with pottery everyday in my studio is both therapeutic and challenging. I love to go hiking with my chocolate lab and husband whenever possible.
