Announcement   Thank you for visiting! Each piece of jewelry in my shop is made solely by me using hand fabrication techniques such as sawing, forging, forming, hammering, soldering, and polishing. I use recycled sterling and argentium sterling silver, 14k gold-filled, and copper in my designs.
See something you like but want it smaller or larger, or in a different metal color? I can customize most of the designs in my shop! Don't hesitate to ask- I'd love to work with you to create a piece that suits you! I can also do custom orders if you have a design in mind, and I love to create bridal or bridesmaid sets.

Here are some of the things I do to make my business more earth-friendly:
100% recycled argentium sterling silver and recycled gold in my designs
Recycle my metal scraps- silver, gold, and copper
Try to avoid using harsh chemicals in my studio (and my house)
Recycled kraft paper gift boxes and mailing envelopes
Recycled paper jewelry cards and business cards
Sugarcane based or recycled copy paper for invoices, etc.
I walk to the mailbox to ship packages
I have over 25 houseplants in my studio- they help clean the air!
I recycle everything that is recyclable: cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, metal, etc.

About

A Satisfied Soul

When I create something from raw materials with my own two hands, I feel such a deep satisfaction and happiness, that I know I can't live without it. Creating truly satisfies my soul. There is so much meaning and love behind a handmade object. It speaks to you and tells you the story of a person who loves what they do. When you receive a piece of my jewelry, I hope some of my joy is passed on to you!

Art, animals, and nature have been my passions during my whole life. I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina with self-employed artist parents. I was always walking in the woods or making something. I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I knew it would involve art or animals. I dabbled in a bit of everything... I earned an associate degree in wildlife management, interned with a wildlife rehabilitator, took a year of pottery classes, and worked at my parents' art gallery, all while constantly creating in my free time. I started working with silver wire when I was about 17, and by 20 my earrings were selling in five galleries across two states. But it wasn't until taking my first jewelry workshop in the summer of 2008 where I learned how to saw and solder metal, that I realized I had discovered my passion. I officially started my jewelry business a couple months later. I've taken a few more jewelry workshops, but mostly I've learned on my own.

Nature is a big inspiration for me, but also the metal itself. I love how a straight piece of wire or a flat piece of sheet can be transformed into something beautiful in just a few steps. I get the most gratification starting from scratch. Everything you see here in my shop has been designed and handcrafted from raw materials solely by me. I use hand fabrication techniques such as sawing, forming, hammering and soldering. I try to be as eco-friendly as possible, using only recycled silver, avoiding harsh chemicals, and using recycled paper for cards, gift boxes, and packaging. I do all of the designing, creating, photographing, curating, packaging, and shipping myself.

I recently opened my new studio/gallery in downtown Waynesville, NC, which I also share with my mother who is an oil painter. We are loving our new studio space in a charming historic building from the 1890's! The gallery is open to the public 4 days a week. You'll find more information on my Facebook page.

Care instructions

Store your jewelry in the plastic bag provided with your purchase to help prevent tarnish when not in use.

Use a polishing cloth or the baking soda method to clean and shine your silver or gold jewelry.
*For jewelry with gemstones or pearls it is best to use only a polishing cloth on the metal.

Baking Soda Method: Make a paste with baking soda and water. Gently rub the paste on the jewelry with your fingers or use a soft toothbrush until you notice the the tarnish fading away. Rinse thoroughly in running water and pat dry with a soft, non-scratching cloth. Repeat if necessary. (Baking soda may not completely remove tarnish that is heavy and dark. Try using a polishing cloth and then the baking soda method.)
