The photograph of this bag doesn't even do it justice. What a little beauty. I can tell it was made with love. It fits my ipod perfectly and it comes with me to the gym where I've received several compliments on it. THANK YOU very much.
In the woods...
Here it is 2015! I am an artist who makes all sorts of stuff...jewelry, woven bags, dreamcatchers, as well as paintings, block prints and more. I like to create things. I also like a challenge. If someone says "can you do this?", more than likely I'll say "yes" and do it, even if I have never tried making that particular thing before.
I graduated from Penn State in 1960 with a BA in The Arts, majoring in art. Back then, Art was in the School of Liberal Arts at Penn State. There were no "computer graphics" or computers and printers then to play with, so all our work was "hands on" - quite a difference from "modern" college life!
I live in a rural area in one of the least populated counties in West Virginia. Out here in the woods, life is good. I do some volunteering with the local historical society and the farm bureau - and I was a counselor at 4-H camp this summer and taught some classes. I homeschool my youngest grandson, who is a great kid - he lives here, so we have a lot of fun together.
And so life goes on. Check out the fun things that I come up with and see if you would want to own any of them or give them as gifts!!

I have been creating things for as long as I can remember (and that's a LONG time) - The formal art training I received was at Penn State. I have a BA in Fine Arts with a major in Art. Most of what I have learned, though, was from just "doing art".
I paint in acrylic and watercolor plus I do work in wax and ink, block prints, and collages. I lost most of my art work and all my old photos of sold work in a fire so I need to get more samples online! I have also done pen and ink illustrations and maps for books and would be willing to discuss doing this, as well. I also make dreamcatchers to order in the Eastern Woodlands style.
