Great texture and fibers used in this weaving.
Weaving my Story
Weaving is definitely a process. A process of designing, planning, counting, building, and that is before the actual weaving part.
I started on this journey in 2013 with creating wall tapestries and that has progressed from different looms into new products for the home. Dishtowels, pillows, scarves and more are all part of my work.
Not only have the types of items grown, but the knowledge of fibers. Using natural and sustainable fibers is something I have grown to love. Not only are they eco-friendly but they have qualities in them that are unique in nature that cannot be duplicated by man.
The process of weaving is my daily therapy. The picking out of fibers, measuring them out, preparing the loom and finally weaving is definitely a journey. The thought of 2 strands of yarn woven together to create a tangible and useful product that I created is amazing.
Please take a look around and reach out if you have any questions or are interested in a custom item!
