Cool Again Vintage on Sep 9, 2020
5 out of 5 starsWasn't sure how well this would work, but it's fantastic. My Snow Trooper finally has a uniform skirt again after almost 40 years. I highly recommend this repro accessory.

5 out of 5 starsHe arrived looking even nicer than the EBV photo would indicate. There's a bit of dirt on the lower limbs, but that's made clear in the product photo from the Etsy page. Nothing that can't be cleaned up with a little care.

About EchoBaseVintage
A long time ago in a drive movie theater far, far away...
So, my story begins in the summer of 1977. I was almost five years old. The 1965 Chevy Impala was loaded with my mom and dad in the front seat, me and my sisters in the back seat. Blankets and snacks and a double feature at the drive in theater down the way from our house.
I have only a vague recollection of what the first film was. It could have been Journey to the Center of the Earth or Tarzan the Ape man. I suppose if it were terribly important I would look it up. But the first film does not play a roll in how I got to where I am today other than it was followed by Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope.
I was almost five years old but I was "mature" for my age. My mom wold probably say I was a smart ass or something equally not so nice. I LOVED the movie. I wanted to be Luke Skywalker on e week and Han Solo the next. I wanted to go to see the movie every weekend. Unfortunately, we were not a rich family. My dad was teaching public school back then and those wages barely kept us in food, clothing and shelter.
Over the years I would get Star Wars action figures at the thrift store or yard sales. Every now and then I would get a new, still in the package, action figure or playset. I wanted to collect them all! I watched the commercials on our 12 inch black and white tv and begged my parents to buy me each and ever figure, ship and playset.
But like I said, we didn't have a lot of money. So, I made do with my second hand toys. Still happy to own any at all. Over the years I acquired many figures and ships and play sets. And later on I misplaced, trashed, blew up, etc. every single toy I owned.
A couple of years ago I decided to try and rebuild my collection and relive my childhood. I was shocked to find out what these toys that cost nickles and dimes back in my youth now cost. I was already convinced I would buy every figure, every ship, every Star Wars toy made. Well, the ones from the original trilogy anyway.
So, I started buying huge lots of figures. It seemed to be easier that way. I started getting a quite a lot of duplicates. That is why I decided to open my little shop here on Etsy. (I might also mention my wife said I needed to get rid of some of my toys, but I wont mention that.) So, now I sell these fun vintage toys so that others like myself can relive part of their childhood.
I suppose Star Wars molded me into who I am today. I hope you will enjoy the shop and check back often to see new arrivals.

I saw Star Wars IV A New Hope at the drive in theater when I was only 5 and every one since in the theater. I have collected Star Wars figures and items since I was a little kid. Now I am helping others to relive their childhood.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
I will be happy to combine multiple figures into one order if you let me know what you need. This can possibly lower your shipping charges slightly. I would also be happy to keep a look out for figures and toys that I do not have listed. I cannot promise that I will find what you are looking for but I will do my best to try.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I would be happy to gift wrap any items that you are giving for a gift and I am even able to send the wrapped items directly to the recipient. There is a small charge associated with this that can be discussed before payment as it will require a custom listing. When shipping I sometimes use recycled materials. This is to help the environment.
Wholesale availability
I do not offer wholesale pricing under any circumstances.
