These arrived very quickly and are perfect for holding succulents as our place card holders for our wedding! The seller included a nice personalized note as well and packaged these safely so none were broken, dented, etc. Thank you so much!

About

Rare, Unusual and Exotic Plants

Welcome to our shop:) My home is in Southern Vermont, where I live with my husband and operate our greenhouse where, in the main, we propagate and grow rare, unusual and exotic plants from our main Stock plants. As required by law we are a Certified Nursery and Licensed by the State of Vermont to sell plants and send them to other States. (All and any plant sellers should have Certification from their own State to sell within their State or to ship to other States). We also grow many heirloom varieties of edible produce, some plants/starter plants of these are available in my shop, as and when they are ready to sell, for you to grow your own. We also sell veg and tomato starter plug plants at the Farmers market we attend on Saturdays.

Our website is under ongoing construction with an evergrowing list of plants we sell at www.oldschoolhouseplantery.com.

I have 3 other shops here on Etsy
EclecticasiaVintage for vintage items, EclecticasiaCreation for handcrafted items, including some with recycled elements, and MainlyManly for items, including vintage, for mainly men.

If you ever take a trip to Southern Vermont you are welcome to come and visit our greenhouse, the "Old Schoolhouse Plantery", West Brattleboro, where you can imbibe the eclectic greenery! Please convo me if you'd like to visit. You can also see us at the Brattleboro Area Farmers' Market Spring thru to October on Saturdays as well as at the greenhouse. Through the Winter months we have plants and produce available at the Brattleboro Winter Market, hosted by Post Oil Solutions, at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, Main Street, Brattleboro on Saturdays from November to March:)

Have a great day!:)

Shipping
Within the USA items will be shipped as soon as possible after payment is cleared. This is normally on Monday/Tuesday of the week after purchase has been made.
Payment is accepted via Paypal.
Plants are shipped by Priority mail (in the USA only) as this is the most expedient. Most plants ship at a cost of $8 for the first plant and $2 each extra plant ordered. There are only a few exceptions to this if a plant is very small/large. Tracking is included with each package and will be sent via email once your item/s has/have been shipped. The shipping costs also includes packing and handling as plants are prepared by having compost/soil washed from the roots to comply with any State regultations and replaced with moist sphagnum moss and kitchen paper and root ball placed in a sealed bag to retain moisture for the journey to you. Plants are packed with care and it takes time and materials to do so.
Nurseries that sell plants at any venue, whether online and shipping to various States or in person, is required by law to have and State Agricultural Nursery Certificate. We are Certified by the State of Vermont and enclose a copy of our certificate with your shipment. Because many States require plants to be shipped bareroot it is now our policy to ship all plants this way.
Please note that I am unable to ship any plants/plant material outside the USA.

I offer combined shipping for multiple purchases of plants. The shipping is stated in each listing. Larger plants may have a slightly greater shipping cost due to their size/weight which is stated in the respective listing.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me regarding any problems within 3 days of receipt so that issues can be resoved in a timely manner.

Simple care instructions will be sent with your plant/s but care of it/them is the responsibilty of the buyer. If you have any questions about the care of your plant/s I am happy to assist.

The small pots I offer in my shop are miniature so please try to assess and visualize the size of these pots from the measurements in the pictures for projects you have in mind, other than growing plants etc. in, to avoid disappointment. If pots need to be returned please let me know within 3 days of receipt. Returns should be within 7 days and must be sent at cost to the customer. Refund will be made for the product only once I receive them back.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you live close enough or are visiting Vermont, you are welcome to visit our greenhouse in Brattleboro and pick up the plant/s of your choice or see us at our local Farmers' Market on Saturdays throughout the year. (Details can be seen in the "Upcoming Events" link under my shop banner).
Plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays of any week so that they will reach you before the weekend of that week. Please let me know if this would be inconvenient and I will arrange a shipping date with you via convo for when you would like to receive your plant/s.:) I will send plants to gift recipients if you would like this service. Please convo me to arrange this.
**Plants will be shipped protected bareroot, rather than in it's pot, because of strict Agricultural Regulations. You may check with me if this will be the case prior to purchasing if this is a concern** All purchase/s will be accompanied by a copy of our Nursery Certificate.
