Announcement   Greetings Folks, I am glad that you stopped in. Let me tell you a bit about my shop goals and ethics. At least 75% of materials I use are upcycled in some way--second-hand yarns and fabrics, old books and scarves or patterns, found-objects, old wood wall trim and paneling...I feel good about breathing new life into an object and I want you to feel GOOD about what you are buying. Then there are the vintage items. I am a collecter and curator of neat-o things and I love to clean them up, mend them, and then send them on to you for a good price.

Sincere thanks for supporting a Creative,
your deliberate-creator,

So simple, so sweet! Erin's picked-fresh-from-her-garden tomatoes waiting in her white enamel bowl with the classic red stripe...about to be eaten au naturel, perhaps. Love the teal background, Erin! Country charm captured on canvas!! Thank you for being so nice and for my extra gift!!!

I have spent the last ten years or more making beautiful works of art from lived-used objects. As part of my desire to save and create from leftovers many of these acts of artmaking were clandestine. I am finally starting to market these works. I have figured that on average 80% of my materials are being re-used (or reclaimed) in some way. In culling through the accumulations of life, I am able to pass on beloved and sacred objects to you.

Payment
No items are shipped until payment has been received. Taxes are included unless otherwise noted.
Shipping
Currently I am shipping by USPS. Items or orders over $50 will be insured (and is included in shipping cost).

I ship internationally for selected items, but not all. Most breakable items such as glassware and ceramics I do NOT ship internationally.
**** If you are an international buyer but the item does not ship internationally, please convo me prior to purchase and perhaps we can negotiate.

****I ship on Monday or Friday. If you cannot wait for your item, please notify me when you make your purchse and we can try to arrange for an early ship date.

**Note that I have raised the price of shipping on "breakable" items as these are harder to calculate shipping for depending on box size, weight, and distance. If there is a significant difference in price I will refund that difference. I try to keep my prices of products and shipping (shipping materials as well) low for my customers, but do keep in mind the cost of driving to the post office and the supplies used in shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item is lost or irrepairably damaged in the mail and cannot be replaced (such as vintage items), because it is one-of-a-kind, I will refund the money paid for the item(within 60 days of transaction) minus the cost of shipping, unless the total cost of the item and shipping is less than or equal to $5 US.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with an item because it is the incorrect size, you have the option of exhanging it for the same or similar item of equal value IF the size you need is available. Otherwise it is possible to custom-design an item meeting your size requirements.(**Note that many of my items are made from leftover or upcycled materials and are often limited or entirely one-of-a-kind).
Additional policies and FAQs
I welcome Custom Orders/Alchemy.

FAQ's:
Q: Why is the fabric in this piece slightly stained or snagged?
A: The majority of the fabric I use arrived to me in some flawed condition before I recycled it into your object. Think of it as an accumulation from having lived. The item is sold "AS-IS". If its a *major* problem we can discuss exchange/returns. As my customer I want to ensure that you leave satisfied.
