Heirloom Bridal Jewelry & Accessories Created with Handcrafted Lace

For centuries, handmade lace was one of the most treasured parts of a bride's wedding day look. Gowns, veils, and other pieces of the bridal trousseau were adorned with lace that required days, or even months, of meticulous craftsmanship to create.

Edera updates this tradition for the modern bride, with a collection of romantic jewelry and accessories that showcases intricate lace motifs.

In my small Vermont atelier, I use the traditional needlework techniques of lacemaking, hand embroidery, and crochet to create timeless designs.

My emphasis is on old-world craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Every piece is created by hand, using fine materials such rich silk and metal threads, freshwater pearls, high-quality findings, and vintage beads and crystals.

A wedding is one of the most significant days in a person's life, and I believe the bridal accessories should be just as extraordinary, to be passed on as future heirlooms.

Edera designs have been featured in many national and regional wedding magazines, including: Vermont Bride, Well Wed, Bridal Guide, Get Married, and WedLuxe, and the websites Brides.com, Vogue Italia, Elle China, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and 100 Layer Cake among others. Edera Jewelry designs have been carried by BHLDN, and featured on the CW channel's hit series Reign.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, or are interested in a custom design, and I'd be happy to help. I can be reached using the "Contact the Shop Owner" link at left, or at ivy(at)ederajewelry(dot)com

Product Information:
Each piece from the collection starts with one of my original lace patterns and spools of the finest silk, real metal threads and metallic foil threads. Real metal threads are wrapped in a fine metal sheet containing amounts of gold or silver, and are nearly identical to those used in the rich embroidery and laces of the Renaissance and Rococo eras. The metallic foil threads are used in traditional Japanese embroidery and contain .999 silver and 18k gold in the foil. I weave them by hand into intricate, often three-dimensional, lace motifs which I then embroider with high quality gemstones, vintage crystals and beads, freshwater pearls, and real gold spangles. Everything is stitched, woven, and embroidered by hand and finished off with silver, vermeil, or 14k gold-filled findings.

All Edera Jewelry designs are handcrafted with love in our Vermont, USA studio. Please note that there may be slight variations between each design due to the handmade nature of all of our pieces, and the natural and vintage materials used.

Please feel free to contact us at info [!at] ederajewelry.com prior to purchasing with any questions you may have about an item.

Return Eligibility: We accept returns on the following products: bracelets, necklaces, belts, and headpieces. Because of the personal nature of earrings, we are not able to accept returns on earring designs unless there is a defect in the workmanship. Custom orders are not eligible for refunds, but we are happy to work with you if there are any concerns with your order (additional material and labor fees may apply). Couture design proposal fees are non-refundable.

Return Process: To initiate the return process, please contact us with your invoice number within 7 days of receipt. Once we have authorized the return and received the merchandise, we will issue your choice of either a refund or exchange. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and customers are responsible for the return shipping, except when the reason for the return is an issue with the workmanship of an item, or if it has been damaged in transit. In these two cases a printable, pre-paid shipping label will be emailed to the customer, and a full refund or replacement item will be issued once we have received and inspected the item.
I accept both PayPal and Etsy's Direct Checkout as payment methods. You do not need a PayPal account in order to process your payment through this method. If paying by E-check, I will hold your purchase until payment has cleared (usually 3-5 business days.)

Vermont Residents: a 6-7% sales tax will automatically be added to your order.
All purchases come elegantly wrapped in a branded Edera jewelry box, with fabric pouch for storage, and product information. I use environmentally friendly packaging whenever possible, including 100% recycled paper gift boxes and 100% recyclable padded mailers or mailers made with 100% recycled paper.

Order Processing Times:
Designs listed as ready-to-ship will ship within 1-2 business days of ordering. Made-to-order designs are handmade when I receive your order, and take 2-5 weeks to create (please refer to style listings for exact turn-around times.) Special orders and custom-designed pieces usually require 3-6 weeks to be created. Contact me for specific time estimates. If ordering multiple designs with different turn-around times, all designs will be shipped together at the latest listed date. Turn-around times do not include shipping transit time.

Shipping Methods:
1. Domestic Shipping: My standard shipping method is USPS Priority Mail 2-Day, which is trackable and insured.

2. International Shipping: My standard shipping method is USPS First Class International Package, with complimentary insurance through a third party insurer. This method of shipping can sometimes be slow, taking between 2-6 weeks to arrive. For faster delivery, or for orders over $400, I strongly recommend upgrading to a tracked shipping method, either Registered Mail or Priority International. Please convo me if you would like your order shipped via an upgraded method and I will adjust the listing to reflect the correct shipping cost.

Important Note on International Orders:
I can not guarantee the delivery times on international orders. International shipments may be subject to customs fees and import duties that are not covered in my shipping estimates and are the responsibility of the customer. The customs form will be filled out to reflect the correct retail price and I cannot by law mark the parcel as "gift." Thanks for your understanding.

Rush Orders:
While I recommend allowing at least one month for domestic orders and 2-3 months lead time for international orders, rush orders can usually be accommodated. There is a $25 rush order fee for each item. Please contact my prior to ordering for more information.

Order Status:
I send an email confirmation once I have received your order, as well as an email notification when your order has shipped. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please get in touch at ivy [at] ederajewelry [dot] com or via the Etsy convo system.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom order inquiries are always welcome. If you are interested in a special order, please convo me with details and I'd be happy to discuss design ideas. I ask for a 50% deposit before I begin work on your order, with the balance due upon completion. Turn-around time is typically 3-6 weeks.

• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
