5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely gorgeous scarf and artistic creation! I love the thickness of the wool and the "special" ribbon & button touches. It matches so many of my favorite outfits and with the unusually frigid winter we are having this year, I will be able to wear it every time I go out! The "little happy" that accompanied my scarf matches perfectly and was a very thoughtful thank you. I am a repeat customer and will continue to check out new creations from your collection. Hope you have a wonderful New Year.
Warm regards,

5 out of 5 starsSo sorry it took me so long to review the hoodscarf. It's beautiful and soft and so luxurious. I was a little worried that the colors I personally picked might not work together but it really is lovely. Efia is really wonderful to work with and was very patient with me. Wonderful purchase.

5 out of 5 starsSo I started to review this before and somehow my review got posted before I was finished. What I started to say was Efia is the most responsive and enthusiastic seller I have ever worked with on Etsy. She genuinely wanted to make me exactly what I was picturing which is very refreshing. The colors in this scarflette are really gorgeous and I am very happy with this purchase.

I Love the Process!
If you had told me six years ago that I would have a knitting-based shop on Etsy and be a full-time student once again, I probably wouldn't have believed you. It still amazes me to witness such surprisingly delightful things come from "out of the blue."
For the most part, this describes my process when creating for my shop. Although I must say that, added into the mix is a healthy dose of inspiration from my ever-growing stash of materials. (Oh, the hours I spend on Etsy, lusting over handspun yarns and vintage trims...)
Starting a project usually involves a single thought. "I want to make a large garment, maybe a skirt," or "I want to make something in a mix of neutrals with bits of pink." Often, past eras inspire me, like with my spats and lace collars. Or, I'll see two materials sitting together in my studio, and suddenly know that they need to be knitted together.
Sometimes, the finished product will appear to me clearly, before I've begun. Other times, it is revealed piece by piece. Sometimes the process is frustrating. I may get stuck, but it is always worth it in the end somehow, because I always find the solution, whether it takes an hour or a month. (I think this is a lesson I needed to learn about life in general ... thank you, Etsy).
I imagine the wearers of my pieces to feel a similar spirit to the one I feel when I create. I hope they find my wares to be special little details that make the day a little brighter, a bit more comfortable, maybe a little bit happier.

Unless it's a custom order, I may not know who I am making my item for, but I always know it is for a specific someone. And when that someone finds and purchases the piece, the dance is complete.

If you are new to Etsy... WELCOME!!! It's a great place. :) Here is a helpful page for first time buyers:

Shipping
For orders outside the US, you will be responsible for any customs charges, duties, fees, taxes, etc. I would track them if I could... alas, packages are not trackable through USPS once they leave U.S. borders. I do not mark packages as "gift"; so please don't ask me to do this. This is for your protection as well as mine.
I will ship your order within 2 business days of receipt of payment.
Shipping charges reflect the cost of all things associated with shipping/handling (ie the actual mailing as well as materials and gas, etc.) However, if you end up overpaying after all is said and done, I will happily refund you the difference. I do what I can to keep shipping costs minimal. I use clean, recycled/upcycled materials whenever I can.
Additional policies and FAQs
I gladly accept custom orders. I do not charge extra for them, but I require a 50% deposit, although some prefer to pay it all up front, so that is an option as well.
Once the deposit is received, I begin making your item. I will send you pictures and, depending on what the item entails, pictures of yarn/color/trim samples. Once I finish, you get to approve it. You let me know if you want it tweaked, or if it is how you want it. Once it is approved by you, I will post it in my shop for you to purchase by paying the balance (if necessary). Then your lovely custom item is shipped straight to you! :)
I am open to consignment offers on my items that are less time consuming - convo me and let's talk!
I do not do trades at this time, but when I do I will post that info here. :)
