I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. This is the second needle-felted product I have purchased from Gaby / ELDRIScreations as I'm always so pleased with the standard of her items. The details are excellent and he's exceptionally cute - my wife was delighted with it.

So why needle felted items? Is "I love it" a good enough answer? :D I started needle felting in December 2014 after watching a crafty TV show. I wondered what it would be like to make something from wool that hadn't been spun. Heck, I didn't even know you could buy wool in that state! Needless to say, I feel in love with the craft, even with all the times I've stabbed myself with the very sharp needles I use. The first thing I made was a snail with huge eyes and a massive, cheeky grin.
I've always enjoyed arts and crafts and I finally have the opportunity to share my lovingly created items with others. I'm really excited about this chance and by all the potential items that are floating around my head just waiting to be made. I prefer to come up with something new each time I get to working and all my designs are my own, so I sell many truly unique items.
I source high quality materials, to make sure my items are the best quality they can be. Wool colour is slightly off? I won't use it. I believe that quality is the key to success; no faulty or poor quality parts go in to my items. I also believe in honesty, so I try to make my item descriptions as clear as possible so you know exactly what you're getting.

A. No, I make all of my items before they are listed. This means they are ready to ship!

Q. Why the name "eldris"?
A. I've gone by the name eldris online for over 10 years now. It originally goes back to my days spent on Lord of the Rings forums as a teenager and it is a portmanteau of Elentari and Imladris, names from the books.

PAYMENT TIME FRAME
• Payment must be received within 3 days of purchase. If payment is not received within this time frame your order will be considered cancelled. Items will not be posted until payment has cleared.
Purchases may be cancelled up to the point that your dispatch notification is sent. I always aim to post items the day after receiving an order, so please be prompt with cancellation requests.
Please contact me via Etsy to cancel an order or follow the instructions at https://www.etsy.com/uk/help/article/1945 . After the item has been dispatched you cannot cancel an order, but I operate a fair returns policy (see the Returns Policy section below).
Please ensure your address is correct, as I cannot refund you if you gave me the wrong address.
If you spot you have made a mistake, get in touch ASAP or cancel the order. I can only post to the address Etsy gives me or I lose my seller protection, I hope you can understand. Once the order with the wrong address is cancelled & refunded, please make a new order with the correct address.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Shipping times can vary by country and can be affected by anything from adverse weather to a busy holiday period. I make no guarantees about arrival dates, but get things in the post in 1-2 business days.
A star (*) denotes the default postage method. The others are available as an upgrade at checkout.
- * 1st Class: 2 business days (usually 1).
- Signed for 1st Class: As above.
- Signed for 2nd Class: 2-3 business days.
- Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm: Next day by 1pm (excludes weekends).
- * International Standard: 3-5 business days according to Royal Mail, but please allow 4 weeks before deciding it's missing. Given we are both in the EU, there should be no import taxes or duties to process on arrival to your country.
- International Tracked & Signed: As above, but trackable.
- * International Standard: Usually 2-4 weeks, but please allow 6 weeks before deciding it's missing.
- International Tracked & Signed: As above but trackable.
FAIR FEES POLICY
If postage costs less than I charged you I will refund the difference.
OTHER POSTAGE INFO
Items are posted using Royal Mail 1st Class within the UK and Royal Mail International Standard worldwide. These are NOT tracked. If you would like tracked I offer shipping upgrades (these show when the item is in your shopping cart):
- UK: Royal Mail Signed For (not tracked, but you may prefer this so the postman can't just leave your parcel on your doorstep!).
- UK: Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm (tracked).
- EU/USA: Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed.
• Proof of postage is available on request.
If you have not received your order after 14 days for UK, 4 weeks for EU and 6 weeks for USA please get in touch and we can discuss our options. These will usually be waiting a little longer or issuing a full refund.
If an item was sent with tracking, if it says it was delivered I cannot issue a refund, but I will provide any information you need to help your local post office deal with your case.
CUSTOMS / IMPORT FEES
Buyers outside the UK are responsible for any customs fees or other fees such as import duty. Please check your country's import fee structure before purchase so you are aware of any potential extra costs you could incur. I can't prevent any shipping delays caused by customs processing.
I will not mark things as Gifts as this is illegal.
If you are located in the EU, there should be no duty or tax owing as we are in a free trade area, but I don't know every country's import structure, sorry!
COUNTRY RESTRICTIONS FOR NEEDLE FELTED ITEMS
I cannot ship my needle felted product to countries with biosecurity in place. As far as I am aware there are no restrictions in the EU or USA. If it comes to my attention that there is a restriction I will list it here. Any orders for needle felted items made by customers in these countries will be cancelled and refunded.
Refunds and Exchanges
Below is a very wordy explanation of my returns policy if you are interested in possible outcomes. I comply fully with UK/EU distance selling laws.
If an item doesn't arrive: please see Delivery Policy
UK and EU: Returns allowed within 14 days of you receiving your order, no questions asked (I will ask why but this is just so I can improve in the future!). Postage to you is refunded, but you must pay the return postage.
UK, EU, USA: If you received a damaged item, please see "DAMAGED ITEMS" below for more information. Postage to you is refunded and I will pay for the return postage at an equivalent rate to how it was sent to you.
I must receive items within 14 days of you telling me you're returning your order (up to 4 weeks allowed for EU buyers, 6 weeks for USA).
Refunds for returned items will be paid once I have received the item and I have confirmed it is in its original condition. If you are returning due to damage, I will confirm the damage present is what you reported to me.
Please post returns using adequate packaging, preferably the packaging the item was received in if it is not damaged.
FOR ALL RETURNS please obtain proof of postage or I can't issue a refund if the item gets lost in the post. This shouldn't cost you anything extra and must show my address as the address you posted the item to.
RETURN OF EARRINGS
I do allow returns of earrings. Huzzah!
If your order was damaged when you received it, please take a photo of the broken item AND packaging ASAP after receiving the item, then contact me within 2 days and send me the photos.
Ensure you keep the packaging in case any more details or photos are needed. This is essential for me to be able to make any claim with Royal Mail.
In most cases I will refund you in full including postage. I will not refund if the damage was caused after you received the item or if no photos are provided.
ITEMS BROKEN LATER (UK/EU only)
If an item breaks within 6 months of you receiving your order and you believe this was due to a flaw the item had when you received it, please contact me ASAP so we can discuss a suitable course of action, e.g. return & replace. I will ask for a photo as proof so I can determine if there was a flaw in the item when you received it. I will repair or replace an item if it is proved to have been flawed when you received it.
Some of my felts are hard to replicate, and if I feel I can't do a good enough job I will refund you instead.
Any returns made from outside of the UK must be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging with "RETURNED GOODS, NO TAX DUE". If this is not present and I am charged import customs/tax fees then this amount will be deducted from the refund, including Royal Mail's standard £8 handling fee. If you write the phrase clearly on the box you have no need to worry and you will be refunded the total amount due.
