5 out of 5 starsI absolutely LOVE this grave marker! It’s the perfect size and the workmanship is amazing. My father was a contractor and worked with metals so this marker is so fitting. I purchased it and it was at my door within 3 days, that’s amazing! Thank you SO much

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
If you can dream it, chances are we can design and cut it. A single piece product can be cut up to 48” x 33”. If you want a particular design or product to be made larger than the size stated above, please send us an email. We will strive to do the best we can to accommodate all customers' needs! Sections can be welded or fastened together to create an even larger item.
About Raw Steel
Our items will ship to you in the raw, natural state. You may paint your new sign or elect to leave the surface untouched.
Raw steel is a beautiful material, but will naturally accumulate rust. This will not affect the quality of the product and can be cleaned back to a shiny finish with steel wool, but we understand that many customers may not want to deal with such a task. We suggest ordering your item with a clear coat or a color to ensure that your handmade sign will not take on surface rust.
Every product shown begins as a piece of raw steel. Raw steel, which shows a dark gray tone, gives your item an industrial look. Steel is one of the most recycled and sturdy materials in the world!
What kind of material is used?
The majority of our products will be made out of hot rolled carbon steel. Each piece is cut to order and is hand finished.
There are many benefits to using steel. Metal signs hold up better than many other materials and can be painted in numerous colors or finishes to match your decor. The signs are also magnetic and hold up very well in wet and outdoor conditions.
What thickness metal is used?
The thickness of material is based on the particular item. We list the "gauge" in the product description. For custom orders, you can request a specific thickness if you wish. The majority of our items are made from 14 gauge steel, which is about the thickness of a nickel. It does not bend and isn't the flimsy flexible metal you find in most craft store signs.
Custom and personalized orders
If you have an idea you'd like to see turned into a steel sign or ornament, please contact us! All custom orders will be emailed a "proof" prior to cutting. Once you approve the mock up drawing, we will cut your item and changes can no longer be made. Most of the items you see here were once custom sign requests!
What equipment is used?
Artwork and Signs will be designed on an open-sourced design program leaving our possibilities endless! They will be cut out with a CNC Plasma cutter. They will be hand sanded and left natural, or painted a color of your choosing, or finished with a clear coating.
Custom and personalized orders
The process of creating a custom piece is highly dependent on the size and intricacy of the work. We will work with you closely and provide real time updates throughout the process. Most projects, including custom pieces, will be shipped within 2-3 business days of design finalization, for a total lead time of approximately 5-7 days. If you need a different size than what is currently available or listed, please send us a message so we can discuss options and set up a custom listing.
What colors/finishes are offered?
We have switched to selling items in the raw state so customers can personalize on their own. A few items will still reflect color options available but we will cease offering different colors in the near future.
How do I hang my new sign?
When ordering, please indicate if you would like hanging holes cut into your piece via a drop down menu. If no such menu exists for the item you have chosen, please contact us. There are many other hanging options available. Artwork 16 lbs and under can be attached to a wall or door with 3M command strips. You can also use wire hooks, magnets, or twine Please note that hanging your piece is your responsibility and we take no responsibility for items that are not hung properly.
Lead Times
Current lead times are approximately 8-10 business days from order entry to shipping. For custom orders, lead times are 5-7 business days from approval of proofs. Total time for you to receive your order is currently roughly 14 days from start to finish.
