My hubby decided I needed a "Mom's Night Out"" when my daughter was a toddler....I chose a beginner stained glass class at the local community college, and the rest is history! Not really, but I have always loved art, taken art classes in high school and college, it was just a natural choice to choose an art class for my Mom's Night Out. Stained Glass was something I was always curious about and interested in...loved all that Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and the windows....so here I am making glass.

I've been doing arts & crafts shows and festivals for quite a few years now...maybe you've seen me in PA, NJ or NY at some point, but it really does take alot of time to make all the stained glass so I can't book too many shows! As for the "Studio" that is "Electric Squirrel"...that is really just my garage workshop and a spare bedroom computer space and me.

I try to give my stained glass a bit of personality...so I often add beads and other strange items to my work...just trying to make something a bit different for my customers out there. As for traditional stained glass panels....I love making them too!

Why Jewelry? I was so sad to discard the tiny pieces of glass that are left over when making my stained glass designs, so I started saving them. I use many of them for making small jewelry pieces and save even more in hopes of making a mosaic here or there. I even share some with my Sis-In-Law occasionally...she is the real "mosaic" girl.
