The love I can't hide.

I descend from a family of Italian artists and artisans. I grew up in the comforting beauty of Florence, Italy. I had the privilege of spending my twenties as jewellery designer in its famous antique and craft district, l'Oltrarno.

Once I moved to Ireland, I realised I can't keep off drawing, painting, making. It's just who I am, so I eventually came to think of it as my own way to love and care.

These days it is through elettrarossa.etsy.com that I share that love and care with the rest of the world.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I'll pack items securely so I won't be held liable for damages resulting by mishandling and/or shipping.

I’m sure you'll love your item, however if you are not satisfied, you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to return it (see the EU legislation).

If something went wrong with your order, or the item is faulty, I will issue a complete refund (barring your shipping costs) as soon as the item is back.

Please retain a detailed proof of posting so that if your packet goes lost I can refund you anyway.
All items returned must be unused, unwashed, unworn.
Custom orders cannot be returned unless faulty.
l accept all credit / debit cards and Paypal.
All items are sent through standard mail from Dublin, Ireland. Orders from Europe typically arrive within 3-5 working days; orders from the US, South America, Canada, Australia within 5-7 working days; orders from the rest of the world can take up to 14 days.

Registered Post. If standard post doesn't suit your needs, write to me before purchasing and I'll be glad to use registered post (which provides a tracking number) or Courier Post (which provides insurance). Shipping costs increase, but you'll be able to track your item.

International. Merchandise shipped through the international postal service is forwarded upon its arrival to Customs and Border Protection for clearance. Random checks happen. Don't worry for a delay of a couple of days!

Custom Charge. Please note that you are responsible for any custom charges in your own country. Duty and the processing fee are usually paid at your local post office, where your package is forwarded. Anyway, this should not happen for I offer no goods subject to custom charges.

Delays. A delay is considered a normal event and may be due to national holidays, custom checks, severe weather conditions - and now to the global pandemic. I guarantee delivery or refund. Anyway, if you're worried about your packet, the best thing you can do is contact me and keep in touch with me, so that we can deal with your specific problem.

***2020 update***

STANDARD POST is a safe way to ship items. Parcels may be not trackable while in transit, but they will always be delivered or come back to the sender’s address.
Any other occurrence – lost or stolen post - is very rare and the latter also a serious criminal offence, which is why standard post is ultimately the best way to go for small shops like mine.
Please be aware that shipping times are accounted for in local business days and that may trick you into believing the item is taking longer than expected to arrive.
Due to the GLOBAL PANDEMIC delays have been more common, so if your order requires a certain delivery time, please contact me for switching to registered post or courier.

Gift Wrapping.

If your purchase is a present, I proudly offer a gift packaging service free of charge. Please let me know leaving a note at check out, or write to me before or immediately after the purchase to ask for it. When available, I use handmade or designer gift paper locally produced.
