Getting some more Kitty eyes done this afternoon. These have already been fired twice and will need firing a couple of more times. Hand made and hand painted by me.

Finished the boxes for my new ceramic rings!
Boxes made from reclaimed materials.
Postcode coasters......I've made myself a set, so I can take better photos and take them to fairs......each set is different. You choose four locations...and I'll paint them for you!

Future heirlooms from Blackburn in Lancashire

My name is Elizabeth and I love to make things.
I trained as a surface pattern designer and fell into decorating ceramics as my Mum was a hobby painter and had a kiln.
I do adore painting onto ceramics, it is lovely taking something that was a ceramic blank and creating something unique with just the contents of my paintbox....( it is a pretty big paint box though!).
I have recently rediscovered my love of textiles and this is manifesting itself as embroidery- who knew it could be such fun!
I am also passionate about recycling and volunteer at my local scrap store, a place that rescues waste from landfill and sells it to artists and schools. This preoccupation with other peoples rubbish has broadened my product range as I now find waste that I like the look of and work out what I can make from it! the glasses lenses are a case in point!

This is why my shop contents are a bit random!

All my ceramics are kiln fired, all my embroideries are made with some elements of reclaimed fabric or thread. All the boxes I use are hand made from reclaimed or recycled card (apart from the plastic boxes for the corsages. These I bought from the scrap store! )

This is all proof that I need to get out more.
