Thank you for visiting my shop! By purchasing an Elizabeth Dye dress, you are helping to support a small independent design business based in Portland, Oregon.

My dresses are made to order--there is only one of each style listed at a time, but listed styles are always available in your size preference--just consult the size chart that accompanies each listing. To place an order, just "purchase" the listing and provide me with size information in the "Instructions to Seller" section at the time of purchase. Order timeframe is 12-14 weeks unless otherwise mentioned. Feel free to inquire about order time if it is not listed in the item description. Rush orders of 9 weeks are usually possible for an additional $50--just ask!

Since my dresses are made one at a time and made to order, I am not able to accept returns or exchanges. I make every effort to picture and describe items accurately. Please feel free to email me with any questions and concerns prior to purchase. Good communication makes for happy Etsy buyers and sellers.

I thoughtfully calculate my prices based on my materials costs and the hours it takes to create each garment. I believe they are fair for what I create. Thank you for not asking me to discount my prices.
I ship USPS Priority Mail once a week with delivery confirmation. Please let me know if you would like expedited shipping, insurance or your tracking number. An additional cost may apply.

IMPORTANT: if you have a specific deadline, please notify me at the time of purchase to make express shipping arrangements for guaranteed on-time delivery. I will do my best to accommodate your timeframe, but please understand that I cannot be responsible for when something arrives once it enters the postal system. I am happy to send anything Express Guaranteed for you--although it is an extra cost, it minimizes stress for everyone! Sorry, I do not grant returns for items that arrive late because a deadline was not communicated.

INTERNATIONAL: Items shipped internationally go through customs, and sometimes can be delayed in customs in your destination country. Please factor this in to your timeframe at the time of purchase. Because international tracking can be quite expensive, I only offer it at customer's request--an additional shipping charge will apply. Feel free to ask about the options.

It's also important to consider taxes and import duties when placing an international order--these are the customer's responsibility and may represent an additional cost. I'm not an expert on customs law and have no influence over the policies of individual countries--I'm required to follow the law and declare items as "merchandise." If you're concerned about additional costs that may be incurred in customs, I recommend contacting your country's customs office for detailed information, since policies vary depending on where you live. Unfortunately I cannot grant a return because of high import duties or taxes. Thank you for understanding.

Since my dresses are made to order, they sometimes become temporarily unavailable if someone has recently ordered a particular style--I list each style one dress at a time. If you would like to order a style that has been listed in the past but is currently missing from my Etsy page, just make a request for me to create a listing for you--I'd be happy to do so!

At the moment I have to limit my custom orders to color changes and slight variations to my designs. I try to make a range of styles available, so keep watching the shop to see what I come up with!
