Love, love this ring! The gold rings are petite and really give a great appearance to the ring. I ordered an 11 but it does feel a little small due tot he width of the band so size up 1 1/2 sizes if you want to wear on your middle finger.

I want to start off by saying how wonderful the customer service is! Unfortunately I sized wrong and had to return for a different size. Sarah was not only very understanding but after I asked if she could do rose gold she decided to add rose gold to my ring instead of gold ( my wedding set is in rose gold). I loved the gold when it came in but the rose gold has me over the moon. Great craftsmanship and again thank you Sarah!!!! For a picture check out the one with rose gold, that one is mine! I'm so lucky 😊

About

Earthy handmade jewelry crafted with a hammer and a torch in Georgetown, Texas.

I've always been a maker, but it wasn't until recently that I picked up a torch and a hammer to render beauty from raw silver and stone. Growing up, I was interested in art, but always pulled toward math and science. I ultimately combined my maker's heart with my affinity for science by pursuing a career in civil engineering. It was through this avenue that I was able to design amazing things; dams, bridges, roads, railroads. There was no greater exhilaration than watching something that I had designed on paper being constructed in life size dimensions.

Over the years, I began to yearn for something more, but I had no idea what that might be. After 8 years as a Civil Engineer, I hung up my hard hat, and entered the public school classroom to encourage the next generation. I took nearly a 50% pay cut to follow a passion. When I became a teacher, I vowed to make the most of the gift of summer by finding new ways to learn and better myself each year.

A couple summers ago, I impulsively signed up for an intensive jewelry soldering and fabrication class at a local studio. From the moment someone placed a torch in my hand, I was hooked. I have spent countless hours since that time, tinkering in the home studio that my husband made for me. I take my time on each piece that I make, and truly pour myself into my work. I prefer to work on one piece at a time, and see it through to completion before beginning the next. I find a stone that speaks to me, and take it from there. My favorite stones are labradorite, and any other unique or flashy stone that I can find. Jewelry is a love of mine. It's how I unwind from long days in the public school classroom. I hope that you find something that speaks to you in my shop. I can guarantee it was made with love.

I started making jewelry after taking a class for fun, and falling in love with it. When I'm not making jewelry, I'm a teacher, runner, cross country coach, mother and wife.

Care instructions

Because handmade jewelry is so delicate, caring for it requires special measures.

Clean Regularly: Jewelry can be polished with a polish cloth. If that does not remove tarnish/etc, warm water and mild soap can be used.

Treat it right: Never wear your jewelry while swimming, sunbathing, showering or cleaning; extensive exposure to saltwater, sunlight or harsh chemicals can permanently damage your handmade jewelry.

Store properly: When you're not wearing your handmade jewelry, keep it safe from tarnish and age by storing in your jewelry box. Handmade jewelry should never be stored in the open air. Sterling silver jewelry should be ideally be kept in an air tight plastic bag to prevent tarnish.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your jewelry comes packaged in a gift box. If you would like me to include a gift note, just let me know!
