Announcement    Well, it's been a long 7 or 8 years since I've been in this Etsy game, but I do believe that it is time to give it another go. This is my passion. I was running a pretty successful shop until we bought a house. I took a little time off to turn our house into a home, and then, I ended up pregnant. I was pretty sick, but I still tried to get some orders out whenever they came in, but I didn't put alot of extra effort into it. Once I was ready to get back in the saddle about 4 months after our son was born my daughter who was 5 was diagnosed with Leukemia. So, for the past 2 years taking care of her has been my utmost priority. Not to mention my terrible 2 I have running around painting my carpet with pink and green craft paint... TRUE STORY! However, I need to get back to me. My daughter's treatment is coming to an end here in the next 6 months or so, and it's time to get those creative juices flowing once again. I will only be adding a few items at a time . I also screen print. And, I do sew, so if you ever are looking for something that you just can't find, shoot me a message. Chances are I can do it for you, or I know someone that can.

I'm just trying to get my feet wet again. So in the spirit of that...

Help us turn our Good Name into a Great Reputation! Positive feedback is always appreciated!

Please note that I do not offer international shipping currently. It's something I plan on getting back into once I figure all these new shipping regulations out. If it's something that you need, or want really bad, then send me a convo and let me know, and I'll work on getting it updated and figured out!

The Direction You Think You Should Go... Is Never Where You End UP!

I started my shop when my daughter was born and I wanted her to be able to wear all of those adorable boutique clothes. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford them! I took some inspiration from Mudpie and then I just tried to make my own interpretation of those things. The next thing I knew, even though I was just gluing rosettes onto onesies (I've since retaught myself how to sew... ha ha) and stamping my brand name on flannel and heat bonding it onto the onesies to be the size tags... I was selling them like hotcakes on Ebay. Then I found Etsy... I had heard about it, I just didn't know how to spell it! I listed 2 items and then didn't touch my shop for about a year. I kept coming up with different things to make as my daughter began to grow and I was still selling those on other sites with varying luck and price points. But one thing that was consistent, everyone loved what they were getting. And, once you learn how to do one thing, you want to learn how to do another... and so I learned how to screen print. Which I love having the ability to make anything I could really possibly want on a shirt. I've made so many different designs over the past few years that I've never had a chance to list them all. I just keep coming up with new things. I've started to incorporate vintage trims and buttons when I can and I always strive to make sure that no two of my pieces are the same. So I hand dye all of my own garments to make sure that even if you are getting the same design as someone else, you are not ever going to have the same garment. I also hand number all of my items, that way everyone can be assured they are getting a one of a kind, made by my hands (maybe with a little help from Ella-Joe) and only the highest quality that I would expect for my own child.

Welcome to Ella Joe Couture. Hopefully you will find dainty practical things for your little one! Items are made to order specifically to your specifications. Because of this EllaJoeCouture can not feasibly accept returns as all items are made specifically as 1 offs. Please make sure you know the correct size when ordering. Your happiness is my number one priority, I will work with you, I just also need you to work with me. I am happy to fulfill short lead time orders, if I can, without an extra cost to you. However, my ability to fulfill these will depend on the urgency of any orders that might be ahead of your order, and I might not be able to accommodate a shortened lead time. Please send me a message in advance to verify I can before making your purchase. It will make it easier for everyone involved. It's always going to be my goal to help get you what you need when you need it by! I've not missed a deadline yet, and I don't want to start with you! However, I also make sure that I pass on reasonable expectations to you, my client.

Shipping
I ship priority USPS. It is the best value. If you need other considerations to be made please let me know. I do not currently ship internationally, as the USPS's system has changed and I need to relearn the ins and outs of the shipping game before I go trying to ship all this stuff overseas. However, if you see something you want, and send me a message, I will move this to the top of my priority list to help accommodate as much as I possibly can!
