Announcement   Within this body of work you'll see animals painted in bold, vivid color; it is my way of capturing their 'Spirit', what they represent. and how we relate to them. I also write animal symbolism to accompany every painting, to further connect animal to viewer.

My work has been proudly featured in the book Pigments of Your Imagination - Second Edition, by Cathy Taylor, as well as the book KOALA, published by Thames&Hudson.

Thank you for visiting me here; stay awhile and take the time to see which animal speaks to you.

About

Painting the fiber and form of nature.

My desire to create has always been a driving force in my life. I studied Graphic Design for four years at Ball State University. Vincent Van Gogh and Gustav Klimpt were great influences in my life and are still my favorite painters today. I have been painting most all my life and have worked as a muralist, furniture painter, graphic artist and now, full-time artist.

Each year I choose a series in which to focus my energy. In 2012 I concentrated on Yoga and inspiration paintings. In 2013 my focus was avian life. 2014 brought the series of Mother Earth to life. Currently, I am working on my Power Animals of the Planet series and have also branched out to creating fan art.

My work has been been featured in the book Koala by Thames & Hudson Publishing, and also in Pigments of Your Imagination (second edition) by Cathy Taylor.
