My name is Ellen and I’m the owner of Ellen’s Designs. I am located in Mesquite, Tx (DFW, Texas area).
I’ve been sewing for over 40 years making mostly clothing. The last few years have been what you see in my shop and a few other things. I learned most of my skills from my mother and the rest have been trial and error. I’m addicted (LOL) to fabric and I do have lots of it. Most of it is home dec fabric of which some of it is designer fabric.
I make every thing in my shop “one at a time”. None of my items are outsourced or farmed out. Nothing is my shop is mass produced. My items range in price due to the time involved (I do value my time) and fabric cost. My home studio is smoke free. I do have a small pet, Bailey – a Shitz Tzu, but he doesn’t get near my items. Actually he hates all my sewing because it keeps me from spending time with him Also I do all the fabric shopping, advertising, marketing, shipping etc.. In addition I research all the time for the latest trends in home décor. High quality items are of the highest importance to me so I may take more time than the average person to make something. I rarely RUSH orders simply because I want you to be extremely pleased with your purchase….I want you to say or think “WOW, I’m impressed!”
I work a FT job during the day and can only sew in the evenings and weekends. Having earned a BBA from University of Texas in Dallas, I am able to use most of that education in operating my shop.

She was able to find a complementary fabric in her stash to match the cover I requested initially. I am very happy with my pillow covers! Ellen was also very responsive and helpful in all of our conversations. my order arrived as expected - no issues.

In the USA, all of my shipping goes through USPS Priority mail or Fed Ex Ground (depends on the order) Outside of USA I use First Class International shipping. I will only ship to your pay pal address. So please confirm it is correct. I will not be responsible for shipping to the incorrect address.
