Eleanore Macnish is an artist working primarily in glass and silver with an interrelated practice of jewelry, sculpture and design. 
Her work takes two distinct forms: candy-colored, playful yet laborious lamp-worked glass beads, and intricate, quirky, Victorian-inspired assemblages of vintage and precious metal elements.  Both jewelry lines are rife with customized and witty objects, and evidence her knowledge of historical manufacturing techniques, and often include items from her personal collection of antique prints, photos, advertisements, Victorian jewelry, costume jewelry, buttons, and glass.
She lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She apprenticed under internationally renowned glass artist Emily Brock and has studied at Urban Glass, Brooklyn, The Studio at Corning Glass, Corning, NY and Murano, Italy. Her work has been exhibited at museums and galleries nationwide including American Craft Museum, New York, Kentucky Museum of Craft, Louisville, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, and Scottsdale Museum of Art.  She has been included in numerous books and magazines and she writes occasionally for trade publications. Her work has been sold in numerous galleries, boutiques, Neiman Marcus, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, and the American Craft Museum in NYC.
