Announcement   Welcome to my shop! I am a Baltimore-based artist working largely in "soft art" - plushes, soft sculpture, homespun yarn, dolls, and more. Monsters and magical creatures are my specialty. I am intrigued by cute, bizarre, creepy, adorable, beautiful, weird alike--I hope you are, too! I count among my aesthetic influences Tim Burton, Jan Svankmajer, Diane Arbus, Jeff Mangum, Tom Waits, Salvador Dali, carnival sideshows, bassoons, fairy tales, crows, curiosity cabinets, and the Hall of Wonders in the Walters Art Museum.

If my shop looks a little spare, it is because I am currently restocking my store after hiatus. Handspun yarns are my newest items, but I will be revisiting old favorites, including the collectible Mewts, Mewses, and floppy wool animal dolls. You'll notice I'm especially intrigued by conjoined twin plush animals. ::)

Be sure to look at my sold items to get an idea of what I'm all about. I love to do custom work, schedule permitting. If you see something I've made in the past that you'd like to purchase, please send me a note! I am also very open to trades and other bartering.

You can find me on the web in may places:

What a fantastic Etsy buying experience. Elly Zee is a true artist! I love Scarlett O'Hare, and she is sure to become an heirloom. She was so carefully packaged, and arrived in perfect shape. Thanks for being so friendly and courteous as well. I'll be sure to visit this store often. Thanks again! :)

Payment
PAYMENTS: Currently, I can accept PayPal only. If payment is not received within 72 hours, I will cancel the order.
Shipping
SHIPPING: Shipping prices are estimates based on weight and packaging. If there is a significant difference between what I charge you and the actual cost, I will refund the appropriate amount.

Domestically, I ship First Class with delivery confirmation. Internationally, I use Global Priority. If you would prefer Priority or Express mail, please alert me and I will revise your invoice. I add insurance for very fragile or expensive items, and by request.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I know it frustrates many international buyers to have to contact the seller before buying. However, due to customs restrictions, there are a number of countries I cannot ship some of my products to. For example, there are certain countries to which I cannot ship items made with used clothing and/or animal products. If you live outside the U.S. or Canada, and wish to purchase an item from me, please contact me first so I can make sure I am allowed to send it to you.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS: I pack my products carefully to ensure their safe arrival, and include insurance on very fragile items and by request. I cannot accommodate returns unless the item was grossly misrepresented. Requests for returns must be received within ten days of item receipt, and requests MUST be made BEFORE returning the item. Items returned before a request for return has been approved voids the return, and no money will be refunded. If a return is approved, I reserve the right not to refund shipping costs or any Etsy or PayPal fees. This will be decided on a situational basis.
Additional policies and FAQs
OOAK: I create all my products individually without patterns, so they are all inherently unique. Many of my creatures, however, belong to "families" of similar-looking and similarly sized dolls, and all series are open-ended unless otherwise noted. Some creatures may look very similar, and I do fulfill custom requests to make new creatures that look like previous versions, but by the very nature of their production, all dolls are OOAK.

CUSTOM ORDERS/ALCHEMY: I gladly take and fulfill custom orders and requests when possible. Just send me a message. I will get back to you with a price and time estimate.

WHOLESALERS: If interested in reselling my items, please contact me for my quantity discount rates.

MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING: All my items come from a smoke-free home (I, myself, have been smoke-free for over 3 years). :)

I own cats, and some of their dander/fur may end up in or on my creations, though I do my best to keep them away, and I clean my products and tweeze off stray hairs. However, if you are highly allergic, my products might not be for you.

All my products are stored individually in sealed plastic bags until shipping, so they are free from ambient odors and dust.

Many of my creations utilize wool so they may not be appropriate for those ethically or physically sensitive to the use of animal products.

Many of my creations utilize thrifted material and clothing, meaning it may have previously worn and has a history unknown to me. All material is machine-washed in hot water before construction, and the creations are cleaned by hand after construction.

TOY DISCLAIMER: My furry creations look cute and soft enough to cuddle, but many of them are NOT intended to be toys. I include in my descriptions whether my toys are safe for kids.
