Shipping
DOMESTIC HANDLING TIME:
We promise to ship within 5 business days for domestic orders, but do try our best to ship the next day whenever possible! We ship through USPS, UPS and FedEx and you will receive a tracking number, always.

INTERNATIONAL HANDLING TIME:
For international shipments, we only use USPS to minimize your brokerage fees. Our maximum handling time is 5 business days. Actual shipping times vary by country and we will not be able to provide tracking information on all packages.

CUSTOMS CHARGES:
Some items may incur additional customs fees once they reach your country. This is up to your country's customs.

SHIPPING MATERIALS:
We reuse or recycle shipping materials (boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, fillers, etc.) whenever possible. Nothing old or dirty - just earth friendly!

GIFT WRAPPING:
If you're ordering as a gift and having the item sent directly to the recipient, let us know! We'll be delighted to gift wrap and ship in a new box, free of charge. That's our gift to you.

LARGE ITEMS:
For large items under 100 lbs. i.e. nightstands, tables, etc, our preferred method of shipping is Greyhound Shipping Express. This is the lease expensive way to ship. We drop off at our Winston-Salem Greyhound and it ships to your local Greyhound terminal. Can't pick-up? Greyhound offers a courier service for an additional
$ 40.00 fee on top of your shipping fee so you don't have to drive to the station. Please specify if you would like this additional service. All of these items are insured.
For Greyhound shipments we need the following:
The Greyhound station nearest to your home
Your first and last name
Your home address
Your phone number

Transit times for Greyhound range anywhere from 7 to 14 business days, depending on clearance of funds, communication between the buyer and seller, when buses are routed to your area as well as any unforseen weather delays.

Please be advised that if you purchase a larger item i.e. dresser, desk, etc, we will provide you with a shipping quote within 48 hours through a freight carrier. We will need the following information:
Your first and last name
Your shipping address (confirm residential or office)
Your phone number
Your e-mail address
Confirm if there are stairs and if so how many flights

Transit times for freight carriers range anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks depending
on clearance of funds, communication between the buyer and seller, truck availability to your area as well as any unforseen weather delays.

*If you receive your items and any of them are damaged, please notify USPS, Greyhound or the freight carrier immediately as well as letting us know so that we may take care of the situation in a timely manner.*
Refunds and Exchanges
Please be advised that you are purchasing a one-of-a-kind vintage piece. We do our best to let you know in each listing of any flaws, chips, crack, etc. that may be inherent in your piece.

We provide you with pictures that detail the color and style as best as possible. Some pieces appear larger in pictures so please be sure that you have measured your space, hallways, doors, turns, etc. so that your piece will fit properly. As a rule we do not accept returns, however if a piece is damaged we will discuss if the situation arises. In the event that a return is necessary, you are responsible for all packing materials and shipping charges back to Elm Street Market.
