Welcome to my little shop, Embroidery by Melissa.

I dedicated my shop in the name of my late mother who passed away from Cancer. Because of her I am able to do what I love doing.

I want to offer products that make gift giving easy and personal.

I personally work on each product from start to finish.
In addition to getting all designs made and shown to the
customer for approval, packaging, labeling and answering
phone calls to answering each email. I believe that it is more personal to be involved in every step with a customer.

I have been working with brides, husbands, mothers, friends for over 5 years.

My hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm Eastern Time.

Returns and exchange details
All personalized items and made-to-order products require
payment in full upon order. Because these items are created
to your specifications, Embroidery by Melissa cannot accept
returns of personalized or made-to-order items.

Please check the order confirmation that we email to your
Etsy account email. The information in this email is how we
will make your order.

However If I have made an error in your order please
contact me and I will correct it right away, if this is due to my mistake (spelling, wrong color, font, wrong color robe etc...)
We do not offer refunds on any order due to a mistake but will remake them and offer a partial refund due to any mistake on our part.

Just let us know what is wrong and we will make it right.

***Please note that colors differ slightly from each monitor. I am not responsible for colors chosen***

Please choose your robe colors carefully, they will be in the photo section of each listing. We will also send a confirmation of the selections you chose for your order to confirm, before starting on your order.

Due to the custom nature of my products, I do not offer refund
I send examples to avoid any color, font and spelling issues

If a example for the order has been approved, there are no refunds since I allow changes to be made if not happy with font, color thread and size of the font.

Please include deadlines on orders, to ensure they reach you in time,
All orders are completed, shipped and delivered before the deadline given.

I will contact you prior to making your order with examples, right before I start on the order. If you have questions before then, please contact me.

If proofs are not approved by the deadline you’ve given for the order, the order will need to be completed, without approval of the examples. I do not accept a refunds or returns if the order is completed without approval of the examples.

Please be sure to check your etsy account often for the examples, to approve.

Please check the email account that you have registered with your Etsy account for any questions about your order, as this is how I will contact you and where the confirmation email is sent.

We will try your personal email account, if we do not hear back within 2 business days of sending examples to approve, we reserve the right to start on your order.

There are no refunds with or without approval of examples, if the order has been processed and completed.
Payment
We currently accept Paypal.

An existing Paypal account is not required to pay via this method. If you would like to pay with any major credit card, simply select Paypal as your
method of payment in the Etsy checkout, click on the green "Pay with Paypal" button, and follow the steps to pay with a credit card. Paypal will simply facilitate the transaction.

If you pay via echeck with Paypal it takes 3-5 days before the
payment clears. Your order will not be started until the
payment has been cleared. This delays production time by 3-5
days.

7% sales tax is included on all GA purchases
Shipping
USA orders they are shipped USPS 2-3 Business day Priority
Mail.

For International they are shipped by Priority Mail and
can take up to 3-4 weeks, this is why I mail orders 1
month prior to when they are needed.
To ensure it arrives in time.

Express Shipment both US and International is accepted but a
special listing needs to be set up to include this prior to
purchase.

We currently are running on deadlines.

I complete orders by either processing times between 3-7 business days or by deadlines.
It works better for myself and the customer. That way if a order is needed quickly you do not need to wait for a standard ship time like most shops offer.

You will receive a shipping notification email when your order ships. You can also see in your Etsy account under purchases if the status is changed to shipped.
International buyers are responsible for any customs fees or
duties that your country applies.

If you do not see your country listed please contact me and I
would be happy to calculate the exact shipping to worldwide
locations.

***Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I am required to declare the actual value of the order on the customs form. You might wish to take a look at this customs fee calculator to better anticipate possible charges:

Attention UK Buyers:

When purchasing from my shop for shipment to the UK please be advised that you may be charged VAT taxes at the time of delivery. The payment of these taxes is the responsibility of the purchaser (you). I cannot be held responsible for taxes that are charged in your country for the import goods purchased from my shop.

If you decide not to pay the fees, I am not responsible for orders left with unpaid fees or taxes and that are sent back. It will be your responsibility to pay for reshipping. No refunds will be given due to non payment of fees and taxes applied by your country.***

I include insurance for orders of $100 to protect myself and you the buyer on lost and damaged packages, this is at no cost to you.

We take pride in our customer service. As part of your purchase we require a signature on orders over $200.00. This is the approved way for a safe deliver of your item and to insure your purchase from us.

If a item is returned due to the wrong address given when the order is placed or failure to pick up package and/or pay the fees and taxes, will result in paying for the item(s) to be shipped back.

I am not responsible for paying to ship a order back, unless it is due to my error.
There will be no refunds given on a order, due to the incorrect mailing address and/or failure to pick up the package, or pay the taxes or fees (International)
