Welcome!
We have excitedly welcomed an intern, Ariel, to our studio this summer!
I'm looking forward to showing her the heavy bezel setting techniques exhibited in our Scarabs. This month please enjoy 15-25% off our scarabs as we teach her. All products will continue to uphold our standards of quality, we are also extending this offer to all our ready-to-ship scarabs so that we can teach her packing and shipping practices. If you'd like to follow along with Ariel's goldsmithing internship check her out here: https://www.instagram.com/aesjeweler/
This shop is our scarabs only. We have moved our custom and fine traditional jewelry work over to emilymarquisdesigns.com
If you're interested in keeping track of our latest designs, Instagram is where our clients see it all first!
If you'd like to shop in person, we're located in Stonington, CT, and offer showroom hours by appointment.
Please follow along our journey on https://www.instagram.com/emilymarquisdesigns or budget upcoming purchases through Patreon: www.patreon.com/emarquisdesigns
We have a very quick response rate on both my insta DMs and here on ETSY and are always happy to send additional images or discuss options for each item.
Thanks
-Em & Cal

5 out of 5 starsI ordered a ring and pendant. Both are more beautiful than I imagined. And Emily is an excellent communicator, fast and friendly. She went the extra mile to find the stone I wanted. Highly recommend!!!!

5 out of 5 starsI purchased an 18k medium clear rock crystal scarab. Everything from confirming size, metal, and stone was extremely easy and incredibly friendly. I can’t believe how quickly the scarab shipped and was received. The work is even more beautiful in person than I thought it would be!

About EMsScarabEmporium
Professional Goldsmith designing, fabricating and setting stunning fine jewelry in Connecticut
In the days of my youth discovering my talents I wanted to be a painter when I grew up. In a deeply artistic and creative family I had many paths I could have taken to express and support myself. While trying to choose my trajectory, my Uncle took a particular interest in my future and encouraged me to become a goldsmith like himself. Living hours apart, he encouraged me through books and conversations which introduced me to fascinating techniques, historical importance, and the cultural relevance of self-adornment.
I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology's School of American Craft for Jewelry and Metal Arts for four years. Shortly thereafter, I made my way down to Washington, DC to be closer to my Uncle and start our journey in making and teaching jewelry fabrication. I spent three years training as a bench jeweler for one of the finest jewelry stores on the East Coast. During that time I learned techniques I couldn't have afforded to learn on my own.
Now, years later, I've relocated to Connecticut and I want to continue to share my knowledge and the work that these hands make. The special relationship between humanity and jewelry stretches beyond recorded history. Understanding the sacred bond between a person and their timeless pieces comes with the responsibility to forge designs worthy of your story.

EMD is a small business and cannot succeed while accepting returns on items delivered in good quality.
I do my best to communicate the exact needs of my clients and make many items to order.
If an item is damaged in shipping I will work with you on a new item if possible, or a similar item if the materials were one of a kind.
If you are not 100% happy with your made to order purchase, I will honor any returned items for the value of the purchase, minus a $50.00 restocking fee on items made of silver and a $150 restocking fee on items made of gold. These fees help with covering taxes, shipping, materials and labor lost on items made to order.
If the item was described as Ready to Ship, no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
