Healing through Creative Work

I live in Detroit MI, where I work from a shared studio space with other artists from Detroit.

I am an artist in every sense, and love to work in all kinds of mediums. I have a degree in watercolor painting, but found a love and a way to support my family in Jewelry Making. Jewelry started as a hobby and has become a passion, a calling, and a growing business for me. I started with beads and resin, and am now primarily a metal jewelry artist.

I began working with metal in 2015, following the loss of my son before birth. I had a desire to wear a jewelry piece with his name, and as I explored the world of memorial jewelry, I realized that I could create meaningful pieces for myself and others by doing metal stamping. Metal work has transformed my heart and my shop. I have created personalized pieces for others going through all kinds of hardships, and have stamped encouraging verses over and over. It is healing for me to be able to make something tangible for someone else that can bring a small amount of comfort, peace or encouragement. I consider a gift from my son that I am doing this work.

When I am not making jewelry in the studio, I am spending time with my three beautiful children and husband.

Thanks for checking out my shop!

Frequently asked questions
Can I get both sides of a metal piece stamped?

Aluminum, copper and sterling bracelets (with the exception of the 1/8 inch size) can be stamped on both sides. In most cases, stamping the back of something costs $5 extra, but it depends on the length of the phrase.

Send me an email for price estimates for double sided stamping. Some necklaces can also be stamped on both sides, but not all, so always send me an email first!

Please do not just leave me a note on the checkout page that you need it double sided. I need to create a custom order for you if you want both sides stamped.

How do I care for Aluminum and Stainless Jewelry?

Stainless steel chains will stay beautiful for a lifetime. Do not leave them sitting in water, and it is always good to take your jewelry off before you shower.

Aluminum will not tarnish or change color. You can clean it with any jewelry cleaner or a bit of dish soap and water! It will get scratched and scuffed with wear. You can polish those out with a micro-abrasive polish pad. I recommend Pro Polish Pads. Or you can get it professionally polished.

If at any point you'd like me to professionally re-polish your jewelry, I will be happy to do that for you for $5 plus shipping. Just send me an email!

Can I get a different size chain or bracelet than listed?

I can very easily shorten a chain. Just include a chain length in your order notes if you want it shortened.

I can cut down and make a bracelet smaller. Measure your wrist tightly, and include that for me if you need a smaller size. Some phrases will not fit on a smaller size bracelet however, so email me if you are unsure if the length of your phrase will fit on the size bracelet you need.

Custom sized pieces will be treated as custom orders and will not always be shipped as fast as the ready made peices.

Wholesale availability

Do not re-sell my work without my permission. If you are interested in re-selling my work, you can send me an email, however, I am very select about where and how my work is allowed to be re-sold. I will offer a wholesale discount, if I choose to sell to you for re-sale, but I will need to know your retail price BEFORE I give you a cost estimate. There will also be legal contracts involved.

Bulk dicounts

Please see my wholesale availability question if interested in re-sale. I do not want my products re-sold without my permission. For non-re-sale items, I offer discounts if buying 10 or more of the same item. Send me an email for pricing estimates.

Custom and personalized orders

Personalized orders from things I have in stock have a quick turnaround time as long as you are quick responding to my emails about your item.

Check the processing time on the listing to see what the current wait times are. It changes based on work load, but is typically only a few days.

Custom orders are not eligible for returns. Please make sure you know exactly what you want before placing the order. If you are unsure, just send me an email so I can work with you to create the piece you are dreaming of.

How do I care for copper or brass jewelry?

Copper and brass will tarnish quickly! But, it can be cleaned! It just takes a lot more maintenance than other metals.

My favorite way to clean it is to let it soak in ketchup for 30 min, rinse and wipe clean, and follow up with a pro-polish pad to make it bright and shiny. There are several sellers on etsy that sell pro-polish pads.

How soon will my item ship?

Check the processing time under the listing details to find out how many days it will be before I ship your item. Most items in the shop are made to order, which means that I cannot ship same day in most cases.

Please be aware, USPS is not always on time! Sometimes they are efficient, but sometimes there are unpredictable delays. I ALWAYS deliver your item to the post office the same day I print the label. If your status says " pre-transit" for more than one day, it is simply because the post office has not scanned it yet. I cannot be responsible delays from the postal service. Priority mail comes with $100 of insurance.
