The Evolution of Poppy

I started an Etsy business long ago, back in 2011, because I always wanted to have a business that I care for. But it took me three years to really establish one that inspires me. My Etsy shop started as a children's boutique, then into a pure vintage shop, and now into a possible future fashion house selling handmade jewelry, and later clothing that I design while keeping in touch with the bohemian/free-spirit essence.

I want to rename Poppy for being the #1 boutique for bohemian fashion and home. Starting with jewelry line that is influence by vintage gypsies for the modern bohemians around the world. Of course, this is the first step for Poppy. Eventually I forsee my boutique, while I'm continuing my fashion education, to take more steps to acquire this vision I have for Poppy. This jewelry line is just the first step.

Evolution, it's a good thing.

Items will be shipped out once payment has been received. All payments will go through Direct Checkout only. I mail out the shipments every Monday and Wednesdays by 1:00 pm Central time. Etsy has to notify me that the item(s) has been paid and confirm.

If the item(s) hasn't notify me in one week, then the item(s) will be cancelled and put back in the shop for selling. If there are Holidays, or the Weekends, then the one week will start on the following business day.

*If you have to delay payment after buying an item at The Poppy Co., then please Etsy convo for details about the given situation.

Example: If you order an item at 1:00 pm Central time on Wednesday, then your item will NOT be shipped out until the following Monday.

*Sales tax for Texas will be charged. For international orders, customs or taxes due are the buyers sole responsibility.
All items are ready to ship. It will take about 5-7 business days after payment is has notify me. Any additions to your order will be treated as a new order and shipped separately, with charges apply. Geography does play a role in your shipping times.

All shipping goes through the USPS company. Your box will ship priority flat rate in either a box, or a padded envelope.

An email through Etsy will be sent out, once I have printed the shipping label, detailing shipment and time. Please refer to the refund policy for returns.

PLEASE only order if you are able to make the payment at time of purchase. If you have a challenge with Direct Checkout please inform me as soon as possible.

All shipments are USPS Priority Flate Rates. If you upgrade, I will send a separate invoice detailing the upgraded amount. Also, please allow additional time for your item(s) to reach you. All item(s) will be package nicely. Gift wrapping is available, but please send me an email or an etsy convo for pricing, if you request it.

*Christmas gift wrapping is available. The wrapping paper and bow will be natural plain with our stamp logo on it. We are committed to living a green world and feel this represents our voice. We do not cater to other religious Christmases.

*Birthday wrapping paper and ribbon will be a natual plain as well. If you would like to know details about the paper, then please Etsy convo me before placing your order.

*Stuffing inside the boxes will consist of one of the following: foam peanuts, air pockets, bubble wrap, wrapping paper scraps (shredded), and shrink wrap (cellophane). If you would not like one of these fillers in the box, then please send me an Etsy convo soon after you place your order. Note: I do reuse the fillers from the shipments that I receive. Or there may not be any fillers at all depending how much room is left in the box.

We do not ship orders on weekends or holidays. Do not count these days towards your total ship time. If you need your shipment by a certain date, please allow sufficient time for your order to reach you. Overnight, 2 Day and 3 Day deliveries are available should you need expedited service. Send me a convo for the corrected expedited shipping invoice.

*Shipping specials may be advertised during the year.

IMPORTANT - Once your order is shipped, WE ARE NOT responsible for any delays lost or damaged packages. If you would like insurance on your package, please contact us before we ship and we will add it to the label, otherwise I will overlook it.

PLEASE DIRECT ALL COMMUNICATION TO ME VIA ETSY CONVERSATIONS as it makes things much easier for me to look at your order.

We will ship your order to the address you specify on your order, and the shipping label I print out at Etsy matches. We can only ship to the address we are given. If we ship to the address you list and the package is returned to us, you are responsible for any additional shipping charges plus the cost to reship to you again.

Orders are processed by USPS Flate rate International . It will take about 5-10 business days after payment has notify me. However, some international shipments can be delayed due to Customs, so please allow extra time. We are NOT responsible for Customs delaying your package or taxes due.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns, refunds, and/or exchanges are not accepted, due to the nature of the items being sold. Unless, for some reason, I shipped the wrong item(s) for you.

The Poppy Co. jewelry line is a one size fits all, unless I otherwise note it on the profile of the items page. PLEASE read all of the profile's measurements and such, as returns are not accepted. Etsy convo me for any questions.

All of the metal that I use for the jewelry will be said in the items profile page. If you are allergic to any metal, then Etsy convo me for more detail pertaining to the metals. The Poppy Co. is NOT responsible for any allergic reactions, or damage to any jewelry pieces.

Each jewelry piece is handcrafted, including the findings, and each piece will be different than their partners. I handcraft each piece and will do Special Orders, if I have the time to do so. If you are interested in Special Orders, than please Etsy convo me what you are seeking and if I am available to do so at the time you are requesting.

Special Orders on the jewelry items will have its own reserve spot in the store, and the pricing will be different among the pieces there, if applicable. You can Etsy convo me for estimate price, won't include shipping.

The Poppy Co. sells vintage items. Normal signs of wear will be expected. If you want brand new mass produce vintage, then go someplace else.

Estimated sizes are estimates based on the clothing dimensions. PLEASE make sure you correctly size yourself as returns are not allowed.

Garments will not be washed or cleaned prior to shipping. This is to protect the buyers from any skin issues they may have. Cleaning, dry cleaning, and/or alterations are the buyers responsibility, not The Poppy Co. They may be iron or steam iron for the models to wear to be photographed. Garments may have an "old" smell to them. This is normal and will wash out. Again, we are not responsible for any dry cleaning and/or alterations costs. Any stains, noticeable tears, or wearing abuse (i.e, outside or obvious sweat stains, grade 3-4 condition, rips, tears, more than 30% beads missing, holes, rotting, etc.) will be reported in the listing underneath the measurements.

We take the time to measure the outfits and all sales are final. If you would like additional measurements, then please send me a convo with what measurements you would like.

*RESERVE items will be held for the specific time mention in the Etsy convo/email. If I do not hear from you after the specific date, then all item(s) will go back online for sell. If there is a problem, then PLEASE keep all lines of communication open. There is NO charge for RESERVE.

**If there is damage to a particular item, I will state the damage in the description, so PLEASE make sure you read all of the description.

**We are not responsible for anything once the items ship, during shipping, and/or the shipment is obtain by the buyer.

***Items consist of handcrafted and vintage pieces. Details will be in the items profile.

****"Handmade" items will be declared as "handmade" which signifies these items are new and have never been worn and/or used before.
