Announcement   Hi Y'all! I'm destashing all my hair clip supplies as I'm going to be teaching full time in August. It's hard parting with this stuff, but I'd rather someone use this stuff. Thanks for making ELB so successful all these years. :0)

I have been buying products from Derinda for over two years now, she never disapoints and makes cute classic bows and headbands. We have two bow holders that over jam packed her beautiful creations. You wont be dissapointed :)

About

Emma Lee's Boutique...how it was created!

Arts and Crafts have always been a part of my life. I was the kind of kid that spent hours decorating and designing my dolls' furniture and making curtains for their house, which of course was a cardboard mansion...LOL. Growing up we didn't have a lot of money so being creative was a must! My mom is very creative and a great cook (I only inherited one of those fine traits). I remember her making lots of things for me and one of my favorite things was a beautiful crocheted wedding gown and matching veil for my barbie. I still have it and my daughter plays with it now. Through out school I crafted and created, but it wasn't until I became a mother that crafting became a big part of my life.

When I had my son in 2003 I really fell in love with Scrapbooking and Jewelry Design and I actually used to sell jewelry on Etsy. All the while finishing up my teaching credential and living life. In 2007 we found out that we were pregnant again and in June of '07 I got the news that changed my crafty life forever..."It's a GIRL!"

When taking my son to get his haircut one day I noticed a little section of bows...something I'd never noticed before, but now I was drawn to anything and everything girly! When I looked closer I realized that the bows were terribly made...glue globs everywhere and with a price tag of $8.00 I knew that I had to make bows myself. So after the hair cut we headed on over to the craft store and bought some ribbon. At first attempt I realized that this was a bit harder than I thought, but with determination I eventually got better (still not a pro like some ladies out there).

In December of 2007, when my daughter was about 6 weeks old I decided to open up a new little Etsy Shop called Emma Lee's Boutique! Now over 5 years later I'm still making affordable hair clips and jewelry for little girls around the world. I've already noticed that my daughter is very crafty and artistic and I hope that one day she'll enjoy running this little shop with me.

Now (7/2013) I have started selling my hand stamped metal jewelry. I bought my first metal stamping set 3/29/11 right here on Etsy so I've been dabbling in it for sometime, and now I'm ready to provide these items to you at affordable prices. I'm actually obsessed with it at the moment and I just can't get enough. My kids says I remind them of tinker bell...always tinkering away at something.

So that's how it all began!
