Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I'm happy to create custom items for you based on things you see in my shop or ideas you have. Send me a convo or an email (TheEmoSeal @ gmail) and we can work out the details. Once we're both satisfied with the terms, I'll set up a listing for you to purchase - you must complete the transaction in order for me to begin making your item. If you'd like to work out a different payment plan, we can discuss it, but it's basically just to make sure that I don't go out and buy supplies/complete the project just to have the order cancelled. Also, please allow 1-2 weeks for your item to be completed and shipped. If you need something within a specific time frame, get in touch and I'll let you know if it's possible.

Feedback and Customer Photos

It means a lot to me to hear back from people about their orders! Please feel free to leave feedback and share photos in your reviews, through email (TheEmoSeal @ gmail), on Instagram (tag @Emo_Seal), Twitter (@EmoSeal), or Tumblr (@Emo-Seal-Creations).

Emo Seal???

My best friend Michele is the person who nicknamed me the Emo Seal. One day, Michele went to the zoo and checked out the seal exhibit. She saw one seal hanging out alone in the corner, just slowly bobbing up and down under the water, and jokingly thought it must be really emo (this was the early 2000s when emo was a big thing for all the KIDS). The next day, she and I hung out with a group of friends, and randomly ended up going swimming. I guess at some point, I ended up bobbing up and down in the same way that seal had, and thus *I* became the Emo Seal. I liked it and held onto it, and when I opened my Etsy shop, I thought it would be a pretty good name to use, and HISTORY WAS MADE!
