Native New Mexican, Abigail Redwood, earned her degree in nursing from the University of New Mexico in 2019. Shortly after, she became an emergency room nurse. However, after witnessing the tragedies & disparities exacerbated the COVID-19 pandemic on her patients & colleagues, she left home to pursue travel nursing. Although memorable and life changing, this journey illustrated the consequences of burnout, compassion fatigue, & moral distress. Abigail has first-hand experience of rejection, fear, and self-doubt in her personal, academic, and career journey; how she overcame those self-limiting beliefs is the story of her success in turning her life around to support the improvement of YOUR quality of life through empowering apparel and accessories.
