I just finished the last three of this design. No more fabric cry! Grab yours while it's still available!
It's trillium season! The real thing is more glorious, but mine last a lot longer on your lapel.
It's dogwood season (almost)! Now you can wear a kanzashi dogwood bloom on your lapel. And the wedding you wear it to might be your own.....

About

Distinctive Designs

I started by making more interesting barrettes for myself than could be found locally. Then, I explored a broader scope of women's accessories, including the complex and fascinating world of Japanese tsumami kanzashi fabric flowers. Menswear was next.

I became intrigued by the world of men's lapel accessories, and started using kanzashi flowers for those. Bow tie lapel pins and silk button lapels soon followed. I have always been a miniaturist, and making objects under 2 inches in diameter works for me! Also, I'm a gardener, so I have to include representations of actual flowers, such as daffodil, trillium, morning glory, and rose, to name a few.

I am a professional musician, and after years of neglecting my visual side, I started making fabric flower accessories. My distinctive designs incorporate several different techniques, including the traditional Japanese tsumami kanzashi technique.

Welcome to Exquisite Lapel. I design and create fabric lapel accessories in my smoke-free studio. If you are interested in ordering an item that you don't see here, please let me know via Etsy Conversations, and I will create something exclusive just for you.

When making your selection, please keep in mind that each item is handcrafted. This means that even when the item can be duplicated, there can be slight variation in the coloration and shape.

Due to the variances in computers and monitors, the colors you see may not be the actual color/shade of the item you receive. Please read the descriptions and the information provided about the materials carefully. I am not responsible for color variations between what you see on your monitor and the actual color of an item.
