About
It started out with a school project
I always liked making things with my own hands. When I was fourteen, we had a project at school where we had to design and make futuristic clothes for a fashion show. I discovered that I loved it - designing and creating clothes! So that same year, I took sewing classes. I took classes for about a year and a half and I created my prom dress.
During the following years I always kept sewing, I made my little sister's prom dress as well, but I also started crochet and cross stitch. Then I started making jewelry, and thought, "hey, I just make all of this for fun already, why not try to sell it?". I was already a big Etsy fan, so I opened my shop last year, selling my jewelry. I quickly tired, though. Not enough inspiration, and jewelry is a competitive market. I stopped everything for a couple months, until I knew what I really wanted to do - I came back to my first love, fabric!
Now, I infuse my personnality in textiles, yarn and thread to bring you Encephaloscope!
Encephaloscope (encephal- meaning "brain" and -scope meaning "an instrument to see") is my way of letting others in my head. Welcome in my colorful little world!
