I have always been a maker, whether I was drawing or doing some sort of craft. I remember my mom proudly toting off a box of my homemade wares to work, where her well meaning coworkers would purchase an fabric covered embroidery hoop filled with cheap potpourri and embellished with ribbon, lace, and who-knows-what by way of hot glue. I still remember the smell of that cheap potpourri. I'd like to officially thank my mom now. :)

When I got out of high school I joined the military, and afterward I went to college and got a logical job that allowed very little room for creativity. I had a child (a son) and I worked as a single mom for a while, supporting the two of us and feeling quite accomplished about that. And then my second child, a girl, was born, and my husband and I decided that I could stay home with her. I left my corporate job and haven't looked back.

My shop started off on a whim. I made a headpiece for my daughter for Halloween, and the encouragement of friends made my head big enough to think I actually had something that could sell. Suddenly, that huge part of me that craved creativity awakened and I found myself constantly trying new things and new ways of doing old things. I am not afraid to experiment with different mediums, and I'm always on the lookout for unique things to work with. Over the years my offerings have changed, but my attention to detail and love of crafting will never change. After our recent move to the PNW, I’ve started also offering crochet patterns.
